Very nice view. Good spots were you can hide from road and pinch a tent. One of the two rivers is more calm were we could fish. Some place there is some old cans.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Report Check-InPushed our bikes down a little path and found a hidden grassy spot with loads of shade and wind shelter.
Report Check-InPerfect place to stop before Coyhaique. Just trust the road. Some people came during the evening, saw us, and left. Quite a bit of trash around though...
Report Check-InWe entered from the carretera going south, came into the village and turned right before the bridge onto the track next to the water pumping station. It looks very much like nothing but keep following the stone road and you come to a clearing with loads of space vans and tents. There is a fair bit of cover from bushes but it can still be windy but it is possible to find more sheltered spots. It has been raining for like 5 days and our little van made it down and back up again no problem, definitely not a 4x4!
Great place for a night with no bother 😊
Good place to spend the night, quite windy. Keep going the gravel road, there is a flat grassy spot at the very end behind the trees, just by the river, non visible from the road.
Report Check-InAs we found out in the morning, it’s a beautiful place to stay. We arrived with two brilliant Ivecos. Check out the pics
Report Check-InNice spot ! Hidden and big enough for big rigs. Little bumpy track to reach it.
Report Check-InClaro has only 3G signal, but working pretty good, even if you need video calls
Report Check-InAmazing place as described. Just follow the gravel road before the bridge on the right. Lots of space for many tents and protected from the strong wind.
Report Check-InGreat spot with flat area, grass and gravel, private access to river. Perfect to spend the night. When you pass the water storage, take the right way.
Report Check-Inbeautiful sunset. quiet and 2 rivers. large and flat Space. we stayed there 2 nights and enjoyed it
Report Check-InGreat spot! Grass, space, sheltered from the wind, the river nearby. Perfect ! 4G with entel but no network with Claro.
Volveríamos a visitarlo.
Large place, silent, close to the river and without mud around (it didn’t rain in few days). Covered from the wind and sunny in the morning. We would come back.
Report Check-InSurprisingly nice place with lots of room so close to the village. Acces to the water. Good 4G. Perfect spot!
estou de bike e me senti tranquilo @boraali
lovely spot , the police say ok for pit a tent here.
Report Check-InReally good placeFeels almost like a campground. Not much trash. It’s accessed by a small road next to the water pumping station. 4/5.
Report Check-InWe stayed for one night. Really nice place. Looks like it's used by locals, but nobody when we arrived. Entel mobile signal. Accessible for all type of vehicles. A litle bit of wind protection. Possible to pitch a tent. Big flat area. Quiet, just can hear a near by road over the bridge. A little bit visible from the small road with small traffic.
Transhumances.eu, you didn't find the right spot. Don't be afraid to go around and behind the steel building (something like gas station) ;)
Report Check-InWe didn't stay here, there's now a water pumping station (or maybe we didn't find the right place?), not the best scenery and we were quiet visible from the road (there's a campsite just across the river). Instead we followed the track on the same side on the river (it goes back to the village and the road a few km away). We spend the night at a pull out on the right side near the river, not to close from the habitations, quiet, a few cars and then no traffic at night). Good for one night stop away from the ruta 7.
Report Check-InLovely spot to camp, a little windy but some bushes offered some protection. The river Rio Blanco (west side) has much clearer (less muddy) water for cooking/drinking.
Report Check-InWe spent a night here with many campervans and there was enough place for everybody.
The place is quiet but quite windy.
Not so good for fishing as we caught only small ones.
If you come from the Carretera, turn into the village and drive until you reach the bridge. In front of the bridge turn right on the gravel road. It’s easy to drive, no 4x4 needed. Some locals at the spot at weekend. Very beautiful!
Report Check-InGood spot with lots of tent space and good tent peg ground. The entrance may have changed and may be more suitable for big rigs now as there is lots of work on the road being done so entrance is very open. A guy with a big van truck thing came all the way to the far end to go fishing. He did quite well.
Report Check-Inbeautiful spot. An open, flat, grassy field next to two rivers. Follow the gravel road all the way behind the building. Plenty of wood for fires but please be careful - it is a very windy spot next to large fields of dry grass - make sure you are alert and douse your fire at night!
Report Check-InNice place for one night. A little bit sandy. If you follow the path you get to a big gras area with acess to the river. Seems to be a good place to sleep with a tent and there are some firepits too.
If think it‘s hard with a big rig, because the path is stoney and steep and you have to drive between a high fence and a wall.
Very nice view. Good spots were you can hide from road and pinch a tent. One of the two rivers is more calm were we could fish. Some place there is some old cans.
