There is a sign at this spot that says no camping. Also no views here. Although it is a good pullout for one car to get off the road.
Report Check-InA good size pullout for one truck or possibly three motorcycles up on the mountain.
Great spot to get out of the heat. We went from hot and humid in Santa Marta to long pants and sweatshirts in just a couple hours.
The spot marked just down the road is pretty, but barely enough room to pull off and let other vehicles by so we went here.
Keep in mind that several trucks and hikers will come by each morning for Bird Watching Tours so no matter how remote it feels there is daily traffic.
Definitely a tough road in the wet. In the dry a good driver with high clearance 2wd may make it, but there aren't many spots to turn around without exposure FYI.
Very slow going road so try to start it mid day and not too late. Sunset from up here was one of our favorites of the trip so far.
