National Forest Campground which is just North of the TAT. Typical Forest Service campsite. Open year around with restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. Dispersed camping w/hydrants. Some sites with full hookups. Tents $7.00 per day. Located right on Big Piney Creek.

Stayed in Site 32, electric and water. $8 with parks pass, we got in late so we couldn't see the beautiful river and cliffs until we woke up and went exploring. definitely an amazing rec area. there was some trash piled up near the trash cans in the day use area, and a little on the rocky beach, but overall the place is beautiful. Has bathrooms.

There are three loops here, 2 primitive and 1 with hookups. We stayed in C loop where all the sites were big, wooded, flat, and peaceful. Our site was a two minute walk to the main swimming area and a five minute walk to a much more private beach. Even on a Saturday night people were quiet and respectful and it was easy to relax and enjoy the serene setting.
This park has waterfalls, hiking, swimming, and bathrooms. The showers were closed the duration of our stay and gave no indication of reopening. Cell service was also nonexistent and even our Starlink struggled quite a bit.
Overall, this is a great place to spend a few nights out in nature. $20 a night for hookups was worth it for us. The nearest town is about 20 minutes south but not a bad drive! Will definitely be back.
Report Check-InAmazing spot! will definitely come back again. $20 a night for water/electric RV sites FCFS (get there on a weekdays when it's less packed) awesome swimming in the river and hiking trails nearby. no cell service for about 15 miles. Shower/bathrooms were clean during the week but trashed on the weekend.
