Something not right?

Description

The guest parking lot in the town of Groveland does not have any ‘no overnight parking’ signs. I parked here overnight (was the only vehicle) and was not bothered.

It was very quiet and I had good enough service with my Verizon jet pack and antennas to stream Netflix and work. My phone worked decent in 1-2 bars as well.

I suspect nobody cares if you park here during the off-season but in the summer you may have a different experience. There are restaurants nearby within walking distance.

Crashed here at midnight. I was the only one here. Super quiet with minimal traffic noise. Cameras too which makes it feel safer

Stayed overnight in our van and was not bothered. Not good for larger rigs. 1 bar of AT&T. 2 guys pizza down the road was very good

No T-Mobile service a little bit of Verizon service and AT&T service. The guest parking is sort of on a hill so you’ll be kind of sleeping sideways if you have a sprinter van. Other than that pretty quiet, safe place to be. So a couple Teslas.

Wonderful spot. Safe coffee up hill too. Easy to park, quiet, bathroom 1/4 mile East. Safe. Lovely. Please pick up after yourself so you don’t ruin it for rest of us. I cleaned ALL existing trash today - let’s see if y’all keep it clean.

Parking lot, not huge but plenty of space. Very quiet. Stayed the night no issue.

Spent the night here.
No one bothered. A nice spot, however under a slope. Photo attached.

Really clean and quiet. It is in a residential area so be respectful of that. Definitely usable but probably only in the off season. A local said it seemed like no problem to him and even recommended staying in the park about another 1/2 mile down the road. There are bathrooms there and that’s where we cooked breakfast but didn’t stay overnight so not sure if that’s possible.

Overnight after exploring Yosemite. We were the only ones here this night. Plenty of parking, quiet, level and had no issues. There is a picnic table nearby for meal prep and several places within walking distance. There are several dogs loose from nearby houses. They seem friendly and went back home when told to. Just be aware if you have dogs. We did. Great nights sleep. Would recommend if you are exploring Yosemite in the off season.
