As described, amazing spot at 4000m with lovely locals. Prices increased to 4.- for camping and 3.- for climbing. Dogs on the leash as there are soooo many lamas and there were issues in the past.

Es un buen lugar para dormir, hay baños con ducha, agua potable en el refugio y un rio con agua no potable. La noche es fría e intenten ser amables con los locales. La escalada es muy divertida y diferente a la de grandes agarres, es de adherencia y trabajo de pies

Still S/3 for camping and S/2 for climbing, per person, per day. (Kids free). Pit toilets. Small parking area to camp in your van. Refugio has topos for the climbs. The obvious wall across from where you camp gets sun only until early afternoon, so climb there first! Bolts look good and new. Peaceful quiet camp spot with lots of llamas!

the road is fine gravel road for any car, dont worry about it. If in sedan just take it slow in one or 2 places. Climbing somewhat harder as expected, a lot of footwork. Feels like a new climbing spot. check when the sun shines on each sector as with shade the cold and wind are not the best up here :)

Amazing climbing spot in the middle of the mountains just 7km from Pitumarca. There is climbing for all leveles and rock is volcanic top quality. There are 60+ routes, ranging from superplom to overhanging. Topos can be found easily online, download them before coming as there is not much cellphone service up here.
Altitud is 4200 aprox.
Road that leaads here from pitumarca is not the best, but we made it on our 2WD peugeot Boxer.
They charge 3 sol p/p per day for camping and 2 sol p/p for climbing.
