This is a great little spot not far from the Khwai North Gate. We didn‘t think we would find a place so close to the village of Khwai that was hidden, but we turned off onto a little side road, and then onto a little tiny loop off of that, and came across a spot perfect for one vehicle, as well as hidden and protected. There is wildlife in the area, so be diligent.

We came here but 3 vehicles past us and asked if we were ok/camping there for the evening. Seemed really busy with safari vehicles taking guests to/from the airport and their lodges so we decided to find another place. We added “forest wildcamp” a bit further towards Chobe Mabebe Gate for anyone who feels the same.
Report Check-InWe followed the directions to this spot but stayed a bit further away in the dry wash. We were visited by 3 elephants after sunset very close to our RTT then watched a herd of 6-8 elephants pass further up the wash in the morning. Amazing.
