At the lake with trash and barbecue available. the road is next but it is very quiet. Only the sound of the lake was heard. Beautiful view of the lake and mountains

local tranquilo, passamos a noite aqui sem problema nenhum, deixei minha internet a starlink para fora, pela manhã tinha um pessoal da polícia e do exército fazendo uma blitz, perguntei para o policial ele disse que era apenas para estar atento, deixei algumas fotos aéreas do local para ajudar pelo que entendi está tudo aberto funcionando normal é uma área aberta e não é de propriedade de ninguém

Report Check-Inacampe libre en lago mascardi.. agua calentita, viento moderado, muy cerca de la YPF, la policía hace guardias para cubrir la zona ya que hace unos meses mapuches destruyeron todos los hoteles de enfrente.. queriendo tomar las tierras.. muy tranquilo para descansar, y seguro ! de día viene mucha gente a pasar el día pero por las noches solo los acampantes. motorhome casas rodantes y carpas.
Report Check-InA police officer came by and asked everyone to leave the area. He named land disputes as a reason without going more into detail and that he was sorry. He made sure everyone left.
We experienced a lot of police presence in the area and the hotel building close by was destroyed as well.
Great spot. We were a bit worried about the moderators warning about vandalism and theft but we were the only ones there apart from a man who came to fish in the morning. Beautiful views across the lake and we couldn’t hear the road. We managed to make it easily in a 2WD camper just fine and parked on flat ground down and round to the right. No internet at all for us. Please take your trash with you! ❤️
Report Check-InVery nice spot at the lake with beautiful landscape. There are fire pits, but no facilities. At first we were a bit unsure die to the moderator note (thefts and vandalism), but we haven't had any problems and felt quite save.

Report Check-Inwere recomended by locals not to stay there ....went to buy beer and when we came back (about 10 pm) 3 guys with a mask covering their faces and slingshots walking into the camp so we drove
away...!!!
Report Check-Inbusy when we were there in high season + weekend. if you want a quiet night, that's probably not the place. otherwise lots of space and easy access with any kind of vehicles.

A nice place for a break. There are signs at the entrance clearly stating, this is a day use area only and camping is not allowed. If you manage to get to the southern end of the site, you might be ok since you are not so visible from the road. We could not drive through with our big rig due to a small hut and low hanging branches of a tree.

Report Check-InVery nice beach to spend an afternoon in the sun. The roat is very close but some bushes are protecting you. We stayed in the night as well and there was nearly no traffic after 8pm.
Report Check-InNear to the road but with amazing view. Beach with firepits. Good for cars and teents. Near to Bariloche. Good for one night.

Beautiful place to stop and spend a night! Right by the lake with wonderful views of surrounding mountains. Few flat spots for big rigs.
