Camp ground IS OPEN during winter. We went in January. RV spots are close together but have tent stops available at the sites with picnic tables and fire pits. Spot #40 is the closest to the water that’s where we stayed.

A great location, but is fairly expensive. It has everything you need, but it’s just a lot of money for a tent site. Plus, you have to walk from the parking area to the tent locations.
Report Check-InA great location with good amenities. But, it is expensive, so be prepared to spend some money.
Report Check-InThe campground is in Devil's Fork State Park on Lake Jocasse, popular for boating and canoeing. Pricing is dynamic and varies considerably between weekdays and weekends as well as per season and way of booking. At the time of my visit tent sites were $16 during the week and $31 on weekends. Sites with hookups for water and electricity were $35 and $40. Tent sites are closed in winter but all RV sites have tent pads as well. All sites have a picknick table and fire ring. Pets must be on leash.
Report Check-InTent camped with the wife and two dogs. There was a fishing tournament going on the weekend we were camping so boat engines were really loud when they all stated at once at 7AM
