Something not right?

Description

Small park near to the pier where the ferries cross to Balboa Peninsula. No big rigs and it is difficult to park between 7am to 7pm. There is a small grocery, wc and potable water beside the pier. It's ok for one night. In the morning we recommend walking around the island with a nice view of pensinsula and the beautiful houses nearby.

Definitely more for small-sized vehicles though, narrow streets and not much parking available for bigger vehicles.

Super nice spot. One of those spots that eventually will be closed, ‘cause it’s just too good. Spent one night and left late in the morning, after a nice walk around the island. No problem at all. Beautiful place…

So far it’s a really good spot. Laundromat is crossed the street from the little park and there are public bathrooms with drinking fountains. Small road to park on so smaller vehicles probably. There are people and cars getting on and off fairy though but it’s pretty calm for 10pm.

Beautiful location, bathrooms are clean and drinking water spigots working great! What else could you possibly need, nobody bothered me all night and great morning walk around the island. I’d definitely come back here :-)

very quiet after 10pm. Small stealth vehicles only. I think someone could get away with parking around the neighborhood. I parked right next to the park. There are a lot of cars going to the ferry.

Bathrooms are closed for COVID. Only good for stealth builds no RVs. Nobody gave me an issue.

Quiet night, got in around 9pm and left before 7am. Would not recommend if you are not a stealth build. As mentioned before, this is a really wealthy part of newport beach

Parked on the street near a restaurant. Some noises from people cruising the neighborhood and planes but nothing too bad.

Stayed there one night, very quiet, only some cars going and planes.
But some workers woke me up at 7.30am and then looked in my car, wasn’t so cool.
So I recommend to leave early like 7am, but nice place for 1 night!

The place was awesome. It got especially quiet after 2:30am and remained chill till we woke up around 8:30. We stayed on a Saturday night to Sunday so Sunday morning traffic was light. Signs a couple yards away read “3 hour parking on weekends and holidays from 8am-6pm” so we hung out till 9:00am without any problem. - was a great time and there were other nomads on the block as well.

Great location, super quiet. Not for weekend use. Parking signs say 8am-6pm 3 hour parking Saturday, Sundays, and holidays. However, it's only good for stealth camping in a normal looking vehicle that doesn't look like you live in it. Keep in mind this is a very expensive, high end, up tight side of Newport that doesn't necessarily agree with the nomad lifestyle. And Apparently in Newport Beach, it is illegal to live in your vehicle or park an Rv anywhere that's not designated. We had an abrupt awakening from Newport's finest this morning because our school bus is a lot less than stealth and someone called it in despite how respectful and quiet we were.
