Nice Rivercamp on gras or stone. No one came the hole day to say "Give me", well hidden.

Beautiful spot along the river with plenty of space. When we arrived there were some boys fishing and tending their cattle. They asked us for matches and made a fire to grill the fish (and offered us some trout as well, which we politely declined). They were really friendly and spoke a few words of English. They did ask for some sodas and food, but we just chatted over these questions and they didn't ask a second time. Between 5-6pm all of them left and afterwards we were totally alone until well in the morning.
Just to show you might not have the whole place to yourselves 😉, but the people are friendly and we think it's a great spot to stay!
Report Check-InStill here, still as described before. Had a very pleasant night and morning. Probably the best place to wildcamp between Thaba-Tseka and Mokhotlong.
Nice river, had a shepherd and a lady collecting firewood in the morning, but they only waved at us and didn’t bother us.
We were in a rooftop tent, but grassy, level spot for a ground tent also available.
Report Check-InRight on the river, very scenic, awesome to have a place the kids can play in the river
Report Check-InGreat spot but be aware that there are some very hidden muddy spots. Best is to drive straight to the river and then on the grass to the left. I thought I could take a shirt cut and got stuck for at least an hour......
Was just before sunset, 3 cars passed by and didn't even stop when I was signaling and honking.
So that's a great confirmation that it's private and nobody bothers you :)
Report Check-InStayed one night on our way to Sehlabathebe. Arrived an hour before sunset, secluded apot behind some trees. Nobody around, super quiet.
