Good morning staff, we came to the coba to see the ruins and we slept one night in this place, it is in front of a corner restaurant. You will see a wooden boat destroyed on the banks of the lagoon and we stop a little earlier on the lawn! Super good to sleep, we left the motorhome here and we were walking to ruin, there is a lot of movement here from the restaurants and the vans that park here! bon voyage to all!

Vocês vão ver um barquinho de madeira destruído as margens da lagoa e paramos um pouco antes no gramado! Super de boa para dormir, deixamos o motorhome aqui e fomos andando para a ruína, tem muita movimentação aqui dos restaurantes e das vans que estacionam aqui! boa viagem a todos! insta - nos3demotorhome

Quiet place (even on Saturday) and beautiful view on the lake. Restaurant in front is ok to eat and staff are nice. They accepted to fill the water tank but there was no electricity so we couldn’t.

According to the police the lake side of this road is the only place in Cobá where overnight stay is allowed.
It’s a good spot overlooking the lake, beautiful sunset, bird watching and little road noise.
There are dogs around, so make sure you have earplugs at hand.
Garbage drum 20M away and you can use the WiFi from the opposite restaurant.

Muchos los perros barking in the night. One pobrecito had asthma but he still barked. One weak bark every three breaths. Other than that the area is nice with little traffic.
