Description

Located on Calle José Gálvez. Great, safe part of the city. Street parking directly in front of the hostel (10 ft from reception window) with use of the hostel facilities, 15 soles per person. Dorm beds 30 soles per person. Super friendly and welcoming owners/staff of this new hostel (1 week old at time of post and they’re still working on last minute finishes). Restaurant, bar, good wifi, kitchen and laundry for use (laundry is extra). 2 cats. They’re working on a backyard BBQ area and seating lounge.

We slept in our camper here 4 nights. We had zero issues and felt completely safe. We even forgot to lock up all day once. Neighbourhood security vehicles pass through here regularly.

Up to two rigs can fit in front of the hostel.
The street is not very wide, and tourist busses pass through here on occasion. Park close as possible to the sidewalk. Extra wide rigs might have a challenge parking here and still enabling busses to pass.

I contacted this hostel in October 26th, 2019 through their business page on Google Maps regarding parking at the hostel and using the facilities there. They responded and told me that this location in Lima was now closed and has moved to Huaraz, Perú.

Report Check-In

Super-friendly owner, very helpful and welcoming.
15 Soles pppn, including breakfast.
Parking in front of the hostal in the street, cars and (big) trucks passing by 10 centimeters next to your car except 22:00 till 06:30, so be prepared for some noise...

By far best and cheapest place in Lima. Only room for one van parked out front of the hostel on the street so prob not for big rigs but it’s a super safe area. We left the van for a week to go to Cusco with a surfboard strapped to the top and no issues with anything stolen or otherwise and they didn’t charge us. If using the facilities (bathrooms, shower, wifi, electricity hookup for the van, and free breakfast) all of that for only 15 soles per night per person! Plus wifi reaches to van for the computer (slower for phones) and wifi is really good at non peak times and slower at high times but we streamed plenty while here... people are nice. Breakfast is coffee/tea, bread and jam, oatmeal, eggs all included! Also laundry onsite. They do it for you and we did 5 loads worth for about $20US. Amazing place. Highlyyy suggest it.
