Mozambique
The soldiers were almost in our car, so we fended them off with an unripe watermelon! They were not really threatening but pushy! Please don’t give money!
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

Drove past here at 8 am. Only a military woman sitting on the side, probably waiting for the police officer to arrive. We just drove through. Military is not allowed to stop you without a police officer on the side.
Report Check-InLooks more like police than military in their white uniform. Waved through thankfully
Report Check-InLots of military checkpoints on N1 currently, we counted 15 between Vilanculos and Buffalo Camp and 10-13 between Buffalo Camp and Inchope. Be kind and smile. We only gave cold drinks when the officers were too needy and we needed to hurry through. Everyone was still friendly.
Report Check-InThe back of the camper got checked but the guys were pretty funny. They saw our alcohol and wanted a bottle. We gave them one with hardly any left because we didn’t want it. We could of said no and they probably would of been fine with that.
Report Check-InNo problem. We were just waved through and didn’t have to stop.
