Description

A very nice aquapark, where you can park in the big, closed parking area. We didn't pay any extra for the parking just the entrance fee for the aqua-park, which is 100pp for adults and 70pp for kids, so also affordable if you just come in for a short swim after/before going to the city of Leon, where you can get with a bus easily from here (and also by taxi for ca 150colon). You can have water in the parking and shower, toilets in the aqua-park, if needed.

Bad place, dusty, feel more like on truck parking than a aquatic center one. They charged us 200 NIO for the night more access to swimming pool (340 NIO 2 adults / 2 children), telling us we will have access to bathroom all night. But at 7 pm, entrance to the park was closed. Aquatic center is old and dirty, they stopped the slides at 3:30 when we arrived. I had to negociate for 15 min extra time explaining I had paid the full price ! Not friendly staff, neither the 2 parking guards !
welcome to Nicaragua...

Still nice place. But now they charge 100 cordobas per vehicle.

This was our first stop after the border. We arrived after sunset, around 6.45pm and the gate was already closed. Currently they close at 6pm. We were lucky that a women told us that the owner lives next to the park. We knocked, asked and they let us in. They were super friendly and for us it was perfect spot after a long exhausting day. We could use the outdoor shower in the park, had a swim and based on their recommendation some nice Chinese food a few blocks away. You will stay on a parking lot behind a fence, have a night guard and doggies and yes, you have to accept that in the early morning you here some trucks starting - the parking lot is shared with another company. But no big deal for us. We paid 200 NIO per car with 2 people and for us there we were no sign that they expected to get extratips as others mentioned.

After reading all the comments we come here, but the parking place is not a nice place, it is a really dusty place and the vind will take all this dust into your car, and the parking is more use by the construction shop just next, with trucks coming in and out all the day.

Very good parking to stay overnight. Friendly staff. We took the lokal bus to León, and parked two nights. They expect to get a tip. Toilets are clean.

Nice place as described before. Paid 100 co per person entrance to the water park, staying overnight in the campervan is free. They offered us to connect to electricity, but we don’t need it. There is a night guard. The gates are closed from 7pm until 6am.

This is a great stop.
We are on bikes and had spent the night in Leon. We had plan to stop here before we continue biking up the Telica volcano.

The food and drinks are cheap and very tasty - a virgin piña colada (no alcohol) for $30, perfect for the heat. They have a big menu and things are very affordable.

Pools are clean and well maintained.

The place is full of mango trees and palm trees so it is very shaded. The pools are clean and there are slides that kids and adult use, there is a lifeguard making sure everyone is safe.

We had a great time and got a coffee before we got back on the bikes!

**We paid 100 pp. we sat by the main pool and under a palapa next to our bikes. It was perfect! Very recommended
