Latest Check-Ins

I stayed in a room and given the standard and half-board + proximity to gate I actually thought it was good value for money. Checked out the camping sites and thought they were decent as well. Shared bathroom / toilets and basic but very clean.

Having been here 3 yrs ago, nothing much has changed. We even got the same campsite (nr.2, a huge one). Shower did not have warm water. Price is now N$250/pppn which is pretty steep. Had a burger for lunch at lodge, it was good and moderately priced (N$150). But the staff is awful, no clue of anything much. Were here for 1 nigjt after Etosha.

nice campsite, in the evening we were visited by a Kudu and a little Bushbaby.
220 pppn

Very beautiful, new and clean Lodge and Campsites! We enjoyed to stay at this place very much!

Report Check-In

220 nad pppn. 6 campsites, spaced apart. Private ablutions (very clean) and sheltered area, Braai too. Swimming pool, restaurant few minutes walk away. Very close to Anderson Gate. Downside is we've never experienced so many mosquitos and flies, they were everywhere. No idea if this is for all sites (we were in camp 3) but other campers seemed to be okay.

Great stop before Etosha. Facilities crisp clean. Not a wild camping, but for us after much wild camping big relieve. Lodge like facilities. In bush land. Several pools nice bar, buffet.

200 pppn
325 buffet dinner
125 breakfast

:)

Report Check-In

Huge campsites, nice washroom and outdoor showers for the sites. Restaurant, pool and bar are nice, reliable wifi at restaurant.

Report Check-In

nice large campsite on gravel. clean private ablution and braai drum in each site with a roof overhead for small eating area. There isn't much shade/ cover for the rooftent though.
200NAD p.p. and they were almost full when we got here.
The lodge itself has swimming pools, restaurant, bar and a shop.
Good place to stay on your way in/out of Etosha since it's close to the Anderson gate and good value for money.

Everything was right written before. Kudus very near to the camping place. We love everything

Report Check-In

The price is 200pppn at the moment, but the campsites (6 in total) are seriously big with a private shower and toilet. Cheaper and a lot better than sleeping in the national park....

Report Check-In

We came at noon and luckily have the last unbooking campsites. Same as was described. Wi-Fi only at the reception.

Report Check-In

Very well maintained and organized camping, a bit too much for us. We still had one kudu that came at night to empty our bin! Better tidy everything !

Report Check-In

Comfortably located just outside the Andersons gate of Etosha. The campsites are very large, especially number 1, which is suitable for large groups with separate tents. We had the whole place for ourselves, which means four showers and ditto toilets, as well as multiple braais and a very large table under a roof. There is also electricity on the sites. The other sites are equally beautiful, and have all a different ablution style. The Internet at the lodge did not work properly due to “weather” restrictions, so maybe it is better on other days as during our stay. All in all a super place to stay, and much better then Okaukuejo Campsite within Etosha.

Report Check-In

We showed up at the gate at about 5pm after a game drive day at Etosha and they still had campsites available. 180pppn. The sites are quite big so it can be shared even with strangers. Each site has a big outdoor kitchen area with braai, tap, table/bench. There is a 2-section bathroom for each campsite (they really are for groups too but we were alone so we had this for ourselves). Each section had 2 sinks, 2 toilets, 2 showers. All with hot water. So total per campsite there are 4 toilets, 4 sinks, 4 showers. Mind you, showers are open sky. Very clean and nice place to stay! We had a visitor while in the shower (we could see through the wall since it’s made of branches - don’t worry no one can see you while you shower!) and she came back at night: a female kudu! But be carefull to close your trash lids properly or to out them away since she was looking for food.

beautiful campsite with huge pitches. cheaper alternative than camping in etosha . we paid 510 namibian dollar for 2 adults and 2 children. nice swimming pool, small shop where you can buy drinks, firewood and meat... perfect

Report Check-In

We had no camping place found inside the park. This place looked to be a good alternative at 25 km from the Anderson gate. We had pitch next 2 which is huge with its own ablution. 170 NAD ppn, The camping site is 7 minutes walking away from the reception, restaurant and pools. The restaurant serves delicious food with a variety of game. Recommended. Also WiFi on the camping

6 pitches now. we didn't stay because it is not grass,it is cement or small rocks! impossible for our tent (and our back;-) but for a truck ok. now 175 pppn.
