A peculiar spot, but worth a visit. Hot springs are 40°C and very pleasant. The site is an old resort that is now home to a refugee camp. Ten campers when we were here - lots of flat spaces and everyone enjoying themselves. Trash bins near springs, but otherwise no amenities. Free.

Cool place. Entrance at the refugee building (still used) or at the other end opposite the war memorial (with water tap). Some highway noise and in summer a bit warm (no shade).
Report Check-InGreat place, nice people to meet. Someone did warn me about theft, so I put the bike in the tent.
Report Check-InLarge plain with plenty of spots. Lots of mosquitoes!! The hot water terms are super nice. The surrounding buildings are deteriorating but it all adds up to a unique vibe.
We heard reports in the news that plans are in the make to commercialize this spot again in the coming years. So come, while you still can. :)
Report Check-InStill a nice place for camping. There is a huge grass area close by. Also some campers are close. And the hot springs are amazing after a hard day of cycling.
Report Check-InA peculiar spot indeed. The hot spring is nice for a soak. There are multiple pools along the hot river, we chose to go further towards the highway and away from the main area. The grounds are looking fairly soiled so we didn’t feel like camping, but the water was nice.
