Description

It’s the official Humbolt Redwoods State Park Campground. It has more than 60 camp spots, but they are very close to each other. Very family friendly, kids playing around the forest and pet friendly too. Very beautiful and peaceful place, but I feel like you can’t even scream or speak loud because everyone can hear you hahaha! It has toilets, warm showers (you need coins to use them), and the park volunteers are friendly. It’s $35 per night. Length limit 24 feet.

Great location and if you are a Disabled Veteran the price is half off! $17.00 for a big site surrounded by both new and old growth Redwoods. Potable water spickets throughout the camp with camp sinks, quarter showers ($1.25 for 5 minutes; takes two minutes to warm up), flush toilets and sinks.
Very popular campsite on weekends and when the weather is nice.
Came in on a Thursday night but only able to stay one night due to being booked for the weekend

Campground in the forest with hot showers, toilets and hiker&biker sites (5$/person)

since legitimate free dispersed camping is harder to find along avenue of the giants, this campsite offers amazing paid sites beneath the redwoods! still $35/night (i think EMTs/firefighters, seniors and military can get a small discount). we were able to snag a spot on a friday night in June, just by walking up and asking. each site has a picnic table & fire pit. potable water spigots throughout. showers are $0.25/minute— but didn’t test them out. bathrooms are outdated and not the cleanest, nor do they have paper towels or hand dryers. but they have real toilets, soap & water. lovely walking trails surrounding. at&t and verizon service!

Beautiful campsite! There is an easy hiking trail right across the street, which we really enjoyed. There us drinking water at the visitor center outside the bathrooms and water spigots at the campsite, but no dumping. I loved this place and recommend it. It's $35/night and you pay nightly. Bathrooms were alright. Pay 25 cents/minute with quarters for the shower. I took my shower in the evening and it seemed the hot water was all gone. Best to shower away from peak times.

The visitor center now offers WiFi for free, network is called ParksWifi and is about 4Mbps download, 3Mbps upload. You can park for free in the parking lot, and they have picnic tables and a power outlet outside of the visitor center to use the WiFi.

Nice campground in the Redwoods. Very clean bathrooms and hot coin showers.
Sites are plenty big and we did not feel on top of our neighbors at all. Not for big rigs but there are plenty of RV parks close by for those needing it.
Also the campground full sign seems to be permanently in place. We did not have a reservation and just asked, were able to check in after 2 pm.

Showed up around 3 PM on a Saturday and still many spots available. $35 per night, which is expensive for what you get, but cheaper than some other campgrounds in the area. No dump and poor cell service; garbage, potable water, and coin operated showers still available. Very quiet at night even with our site backing up to the main road.

warning to big rigs: length limit is 24 feet!

most of the campsites are marked closed. there are a few open or the wind blew the sign away. one way or the other we're here in a cab over camper truck. the bathrooms are open and the showers work with quarters.
