Description

Cool hostel, I guess it’s even better in the dry season with more people cause we were almost alone ! :) THE BIG POINT : Swimming pool ! This is just like a blessing to see the pool after a crazy warm and sweaty day/tours :)
- you got dorms (between 45 and 70bs depends on the size of the dorm) and matrimonial for 2 with private bathroom : 157bs but you can negotiate the 150. Mattresses are good and the place is clean
- normally bbq every night but as we were almost alone, nothing for us
- pool table (not anymore there 2024) in a good shape, beers available at the bar !
- the breakfast is included but it’s really small : 2 bread, little “butter” + marmelade, 2 slices papaya and one banana, milk/cafe/tee, chocolate for the milk.
- wifi is great (bad in 2024) at the reception, at the bar and the pool but the one in the rooms didn’t worked and we forgot to ask why..

He staff is ok it I think the place can be really cool with a bit more people. We enjoyed the calm tough! :)

150bs for 1 single bedroom with private bath.
I this room, the Matress is horrible.

They have also no mosquito nets in any room.

The swimming pool and the hammocks are nice

Cool hostel, very accommodating couple managing it. The pool is super clean and so awesome indeed given the fact it's so hot and humid there.

We spent two nights, then left our bags there (no extra charge) and went on a jungle trek. When we came back, they were full but offered us a room for the same price in a hotel just a block further, for the same price, and it was actually an upgrade. Private bathroom, very quiet, very clean, and we could still use the pool and common baños of El Curichal.

We paid 150 for a double room per night.

We left our van in La Paz and came by bus but there is definitely space within their gate for a couple of motorbikes and maybe one kombi-sized van if it's not too high to fit under the gate.

Not the cheapest but so friendly and such a relaxing spot to meet a lot of fellow travellers.

Definitely the place to stay in Rurrenabaque. Nice vibe. Was a tight fit getting my (large) 250 in, f800s and up would really struggle.

The meat BBQ was very good, the veggie one was less good.
