Ecuador
Beautiful site carved into rock. Park before the gate if you’re tall (on the tracks). No one there to charge a fee or open museum. But interesting to walk through. Note- this is the turn to get to entrance, not the ruins.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
No fee to enter. I rode over to the house in the far corner and a man came out to offer a tour. He spoke very little English, but his Spanish was very slow and clear so I could understand him.
I gave him a tip at the end.
I spent about 45 minutes here. There's not a lot to see, and I would only recommend this site if you're really interested in the history of the Cañari and Inca.
Report Check-Instill the same- open to visit, but no guide around only locals working in the adjoining fields.
