Easy road if weather is good. We had no trouble with my 24' Sprinter fully loaded. nice big flat spots. No one here on a Saturday at 5pm.
Report Check-InBeautiful, peaceful, quiet place. I was tempted to spend a few days here. Had no problem getting my 25' RV up here. Enough Verizon for basic needs.
Report Check-Intook a site a little before this spot just after turning off the highway. beautiful site, very clean and private. be mindful though that the roads turn to gumbo when it rains. I was able to get in with my AWD vehicle, but could easily see a 2WD car getting stuck if they came after it rains here. still some snow this time of year.
Report Check-InBeautiful sites. Easy access. Great Cell coverage MetroPCS. Quiet and peaceful in a beautiful forest.
Report Check-Ina pullout off the dirt road about 100 feet in.
big enough for 2 medium size rigs.
fire ring, but a No burn ban was in effect.
very quiet. 3 bars Verizon.
Great place to camp, many large sites just 2 mins off the road. Quiet & cold this time of year. GC North Rim is closed, thus little traffic.
Cell service.
Nice spot. 2-3 bars cell and Verizon LTE. Road in was ok. A bit wet from melting snow but nothing thar required 4 wheel HC. Can hear a bit of road noise but much better than some spots we recently stayed.
Report Check-InAt this time the road is a rutted mix of snow, water, and gravelly mud to about 3” deep. I preferred staying in the large partially paved area on 89A directly across from this road’s turnout. Ponderosa piney wood forest with little underbrush.
Report Check-InWe camped on the other side of 89a on this FS Road. Many sites with fire rings. Good AT&T cell reception.
Report Check-InWe camped here after leaving the valley which was nice and hot but got very windy. This place was very nice and sheltered but being the elevation is so high it dropped below freezing and snowed during the night. Big change from shorts in the afternoon to winter coat at night. Lots of places to camp along this road. No AT&T cell signal.
