Something not right?

Description

At the end of the Main Street that goes through Zicatela turn right and you’ll be at a small dirt parking lot right on the beach. This parking lot is right in front of an abandoned lot so no problem with camping overnight. This spot was far better than any other free spots listed on iOverlander in this area as it is quiet and away from the main drag. The police came and told us it’s okay to camp. Perfect spot for the dog to run around on the beach. Just beware, there is no shade so you will need to have your own source. And the best thing - there are NO BUGS!!

Best spot around!!

Great spot to park. Just so hot this time of year but hey, that’s the oaxaca coast. Nice and level.

slept here 3 nights...great peaceful safe place
we were about 5 overlanders

found that place by chance and was not deceived at all! at the end of the Pirules street, turn left and you'll reach a dirt road. Ocean to your right and some abandoned lots on your left. Please try to stay clear of the houses further so owners don't report and keep it clean. Police are passing true regularly. Felt SUPER safe alone (even if you never are cause there is always someone there 😉)
Abarotes and restaurant at 2 min. walk.

Amazing wildcamping spot. Many, many overlanders lined up along the beach. 50m from beach at abandoned hotel. Feels totally safe with so many others and area in general. A little far from the actual bays, but walkable.
Possible with any vehicle, just small portion of dirt road from the mainroad. Strong cellservice, almost no bugs.
