Argentina
this is an abandoned estancia that since to be now a municipal land. The place is used sometimes on week end by the local paintball club but its a pretty good place to camp as well. If a paintball party is on you will have to wait aroud 6 or 7pm to set up your camp.
There is a lot of good and tall trees for wind protection and its as well possible to set a tent inside the old building. Its well damage but quite large and a few room as still ok. perfect for cyclist
No rubbish aroud and a lot of fire wood.
There is a small sprimg but i would not expect it to run year round.
Entrance is just where there is a autobus wreck on the side of the road.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Yeah, can’t complain, it was indeed a good spot. No Claro service, but pretty quiet (and night less trucks), secluded
Report Check-InGood place in an otherwise very difficult area. Entrance is no problem in a van, you will touch the branches a bit. food wind shelter.
Report Check-InStayed here for one night. Happy to find a place like this only 30 minutes from the big city. It’s surrounded by trees, high dry grasses and some abandoned buildings. Pretty much protected from the wind. You definitely hear the road and the heavy trucks passing, but we preferred this above staying on a parking directly next to the road. Had a very good nights sleep. The official entrance is narrow due to the trees, but our Mercedes Vito high roof fitted through (2,5m high). On the way back we used the axe to make it a bit wider for others. We saw that the fence is gone on the right side of the entrance, so bigger rigs with high clearance might be able to enter from that side. The bus wreck is a very good item to recognize you are there. Enjoy!
Report Check-Inwhat a nice place for this ruta 3. not far from the road but lot of trees to be protected from the wind. flat and Big open Space. I recommend. entrance a little bit blocked by branches but no issue with our Kombi
Report Check-InNice place, even for mid-day stop, having some shadow.
Some bigger rigs would be nice to „clear the entrance from some branches“.
As described, especially the bus wreck 8s helpful. A bit of an oasis in the night!
Report Check-Inwas no problem with our van with length: 5.5m; wide: 2.3m; height: 2.4m.
Report Check-InNO WAY ACCESSIBLE TO BIG RIGS! Entrance is barely big enough for a car left alone anything larger.
Report Check-InGood spot to stay along these road with trees as wind protection for our rooftop tent, not visible from the road but you can hear the trucks, no other people
Report Check-InThis is actually a brilliant spot. Flat, green and pretty much no rubbish around. We parked in a lovely place in the trees that sheltered our rooftop tent from the wind and we were able to light a small fire in a corner that had been used before. No water that we were able to find. Didn’t see any paintballers but it’s winter and a weekday.
