Easy border, took us approx 15 minutes to cross both sides. we were travelling with a car with rooftop tent.

We would pass the border from Albania to Northmazedonia, but the Albanian border officer rejected us, i asked him why and he said, our mobilehome is too big for this border. Our mobilehome is based on a truck, length 9.2m high 3.5m width 2.5m

Crossed from North Macedonia to Albania. Straight forward border crossing. We didn't need to show our green card, but had it with us.

American couple on two US registered motorcycles traveling from Albania to North Macedonia. We were told to turn around and go to the border at Kjafasan since this border does not have means to purchase insurance. The border agent was patient and even used his smart phone to translate the information to us in English. We had no problem buying insurance at the Kjafasan border.

Small border crossing from Albania to Macedonia. The road surface from Tushemist out to the border is very poor. They DO NOT (at time of writing June '19) have the facility to provide Frontier Insurance for motorcyclists (I'm a British Citizen with British passport on a UK regtistered bike) who aren't covered by, and able to produce, a Green Card. I was turned away and had to travel anti-clockwise, which is beautufl scenery, back up to Kjafasan border which is about 21 miles.
