Instead of going left to the campground go straight down to the lake/river. Lots of spaces for free and beautiful.
We are here with a 23ft RV, no problems for us.

Fantastic Site. Only a couple of other people camping after the day trippers packed up. Plenty of room to spread out and all have lake view and not get in each other’s site lines. The mountains and glaciers across the lake are spectacular. Great place to kayak or SUP. And no mosquitoes! The actual campground here up in the woods had much worse bugs.
Report Check-InGreat wild camp site, road in a little rough. Spent 2 night with a trip to the near by Swiss bakery for some treats
Report Check-InLovely place with lots of room at the beach. Dust devils dancing in the dry lake, only a trickle of a river goes through the center. Tons of driftwood for campfire. Nice and quiet!
Report Check-InLovely. I would really loce it if people picked up after themselves though. Leaving a fire pit/ring, sure. But all the bottle caps, alu foil, plastic.... Please be mindful of nature and fellow humans. Thank you! Enjoy your stay here, it is so beautiful.
