Something not right?

Description

Great camping. Bar with free Wifi that works well. OK Showers and Toilets(men bathroom is more modern than women). Unfortunately not much view from the place where you can camp with a rooftoptent. But from the cliff campingspots the view over Lake Manyara is great. Well worth the USD10,- pppn, especially in that touristic area.

Nice place. 15& ppn for chalet. Nice food.free internet at bar.

We paid $10 pppn, which is way to much for what you get. First shower on the men's side gave me electric sparks, not what you want in a shower. Told staff, did nothing with it. WiFi was not working, almost no flat spots to park, expensive breakfast ($7 for some toasted bread..) and the access road after a night of rain was flooded away. Would recommend to spend a bit more and just visit Migombani.

As most places on this route, it’s touristy with safari cars and their guests and the dance performance feels a bit over the top again but amazing views and friendly enough. Tsh23.000 pp

Stayed in one of their iglos for 20 USD (if I remember correctly), had some good food. Remember to book dinner one day in advance. Nice evening show and friendly staff.

Report Check-In

Beautiful campsite with very friendly people. Nice bar and restaurant with surprisingly excellent wifi.
We were there on a Friday night and the staff did a drum show. Which was nice except for the fact we were getting up early to head into the parks and wanted to sleep.
Overall would definitely recommend

What a view! With our own tent, we could camp right at the edge overlooking the lake. Clean bathrooms. Luke warm shower (maybe it's hot in the evening). WiFi is fast during the day when the tourists are gone. Some baboons will come by for a visit, watch your food. At night they are not active, so we still kept our food in the tent. Negotiated down to 30000 Tsh for two with a tent and bicycles.

Great Place, Friendly, clean, simple, View stunning, hot shower, FreeWIFi, good food...
Perfect to stay her and do different spots

Pitching your own tent or taking one of their fixed tents is the same price at $10 pp/pn, so the option is yours.

Very friendly staff and chef who seems to enjoy his work. We stopped over on our way South to Iringa and ended up staying for 2 nights. Well worth it.

Worth the non- negotiable price for the view only.
Ablutions are alright, not too modern nor clean.

WIFI works well, view is spectacular.

Great campsite with exceptional views. Good facilities with great staff!

We stayed here after checking out a few other places. We were not keen to stay in a overrun middle of town campsite. We loved it here. The staff were friendly and because the place was not full they let us pitch our tent on the viewpoint. The views are breathtaking and you would be paying so much anywhere else! Camping. Costs $12pppn and includes wifi which is great when the guests leave. Other guests are usually here to do tours so they leave after breakfast and return in the evening- if you stay the place is nice and quiet. The food is also very good and there is a small shop. Electric showers( it is hot if you turn the pressure down) and flush toilets. The tents are very run down, but the place has a new manager and he is working hard to fix it up. Watch for the baboons that pass through twice a day and do not leave any food in or by your tent! View is over the national park so you can see the animals far below. Take binoculars! Road in is a little rocky.

Not really a campsite but still a great place to camp. Make sure you see the sunrise at their view point!

Report Check-In

Nice campsite, good facilities. We paid 30.000 ths 2 persons 1 night. If you are looking for a flat spot, park your car on top of the funding of the old restaurant.

Bar with free Wifi that works well. Nice Showers and Toilets. Unfortunately not much view from the place where you can camp with the Car. But from the front the view over Lake Manyara is great. Well worth the 10$, especialy in that touristy Area ...
