Clean dump station with water. Went in to ask and they confirmed it was free. Gave them my license as collateral for the keys. Clean and organized.

Stayed here for 1 night in our truck camper and there’s lots of hurricane damage. Great spot though! Busy during the day w locals for the park and to have lunch

Great little spot. Enough room for 10 or so larger RVs. Only a horse trailer and 2 tents on a weekend. Lots of trails and a river about 1/2 mile away. small gas station 3 miles up the road.

Great spot by the river. Hilda was very nice having us pick any spot we wanted. Place is a bit run down and feels forgotten, but if you don’t mind the minimal upkeep, the setting is stunning!

Great spot! Will stay here next time through. Caretaker helped us right away picking a spot that fit our needs best. Location is perfect for a walk to harbor, restaurants, and town. Spots are close together but it’s in the heart of the city! No 30 amp or 50 amp power so expect only 110 power. I wish the website and phone would work for future reservations. Nothing is worse than getting there and they are full or closed!

Great parking area at the trailhead for a night. Cops routinely come by, possibly on a schedule, but they do not seem to care about self contained overnight campers. I pulled up around 7:30 in a promaster, and a cop was parked by the portopotties which I promptly used, and when I left he was gone. Not bothered by the cop I saw at 11 am either. Great winter overnight option as the parking lot melts snow quickly.

This is an OHV area that offers camping with pit toilets, grills and awnings

you pay 120 pesos per adult and you have access to a small swimming pool, hot showers, toilets, hammocks, and internet from the restaurant... everything is well maintained and nicely made.
the restaurant does good food and all the staff is good.
so we paid 240 pesos per day for 2 adults 2 kids and a big camper, definitely worth it.
and try those delicious wooden oven pizzas from Don Mucho's which is opposite the office of this place

NO! This place has been developed. No-go!

Delicious menu for everyone; excellent vegetarian options and for meat eaters, ethically farmed meat! Seriously this was the best food we found since we left Toronto. Prices are fair, lovely and happy servers and free parking at the back of the restaurant. Fuel up here!

Nice Boondocking stop. Good place to spend the night if you’re visiting the refuge first thing in the morning or until sunset. Just a dirt pull off. Verizon and AT&T have weak but reasonable signals this place can accommodate a fairly big rig.

Beautiful spot. Quiet and fairly remote. Other vehicle here fishing/camping, but no problems. Bathrooms have sign that states they haven’t been cleaned because of Covid. Women’s bathroom was locked.

This area has signs that clearly indicate that it is closed overnight. We did not stay to camp. There was quite a bit of traffic in and out while we were there assessing area.

small site for a van or truck at 5600' overlooking a mountain range. there was a fire up here in 16' take the road all the way up to the lookout and the view of lake.
not for huge rigs or 2wd in wet conditions..
PACK IN, PACK OUT!!

First big parking lot before going into Hyalite Canyon. Most people begin their carpools into the canyon here. Had a couple of teenagers pull in playing their loud music and revving the engine around 10pm but they left quickly. Otherwise, a good night. No signs prohibiting overnight parking. One bar of Verizon service. Plenty of room.

The best campground showers I’ve ever seen. It was like I was walking into a spa. Super clean, nice tile work, rain shower head with separate detachable shower head. You’ll have to pay the $10 entrance fee and then an extra $1 for the shower if you’re not camping. No time limit. If you’ve been on the road for awhile.. Worth it.

Showers are closed for winter. Camping is open.

not far away from Mnceba. A lovely walk along the beach to this waterfall. Some shade to rest for a while. Waterfall is not accessible

1 km from an old tower next to a gravel road, but overnight no vehicles on the road. Over the day one man with a motorbike. In the wilderness.

Lugar super tranquilo, com infraestrutura simples de banheiro, mas que atende numa boa, tem bastante sombra, é proibido som automotivo, e o dono é super receptivo. Tem várias mesinhas com bancos e churrasqueiras. Um dos banheiros possui chuveiro quente. Tem um restaurante que serve bebidas e porções. Tem pontos de energia 220 w.

Stayed here 1 night for a weekend in Savannah. No issues. Saw 4 other vans in the lot overnight as well. Lot was busy during the day so parked in street parking (south of Liberty is free Saturday and Sunday, all over free Sunday). Thought about staying in our street parking spot overnight but it was residential and locals had taken more notice than I'd like. Also very unlevel while this lot was level.

Great beer and food. You should make the time to visit! Not in downtown anymore, much bigger place south of town, km 128 past the Pemex.

This is a very small turn out next to someone’s ranch home. We didn’t feel comfortable staying here in our small van.

Large open flat parking lot. Lots of level spaces and plenty of space for any size vehicle. You can definitely hear the highway but we were able to sleep through it.

Easy turnoff for free water. Works great! We hooked up our hose just fine.

Good Campsite for a night. Hot showers, green lawn, place for washing dishes and a nice swimming pool. It's located behind the hotel so you don't hear the road at night. We had a pleasant quiet night sleep.

lots of room and super quiet after 11pm. not a scary place. lots of family's biking and enjoying. stayed 1 night. good 4g signal

Nice 4 km walk (in total) above La Junta. Good to stretch your legs.
