Amazing view, pretty city lights at night. Little bit noisy. Security guard around the clock. Excellent AT&T service. Over by the bird statue there are some nice walking paths along the highway.

Beautiful sandy spots by the lagoon. No cell coverage. Pit toilets, garbage cans and camp rings.

Cold, but so much better than wet wipes and wild showers. Door latches so no risk of public exposure. Beach is right across the road and is quite lovely.

Stunning campsite on the base of the Mulanje Mountains about 4km from Muloza Border Post in Malawi with stunning views. Shaded stands on lush green grass each with dedicated braai-stand, table and electric socket. Ablutions are basic but extremely functional and clean with hot water. Owners recently installed a small splash-pool which is very refreshing after returning from a day’s hiking. Reception arranged a guide from Mulanje Outdoor Adventures who took us to see one of the nearby waterfalls and natural swimming spots for only USD25 (A MUST!). Restaurant apparently has some of the best food in Malawi (pre-order only). Rates = Mkw6,900 per adult per night with kids = Mkw3,450.

The park can be found at the end of Margaret Dr in Grimsby, Ont. Lake Ontario's shoreline offers a peaceful, quiet setting. Beach volleyball facilities are available.

Nelles Park is named for Robert Nelles. He was an elected representative in the government of "Upper Canada" as well as a military leader in the War of 1812.

Great place to swim ,camp or fish. Great lake for canoeing to a campsite.
You may camp anywhere on the lake, providing you are within 150' of the shoreline. You should remove any trace of camping when you are done and insure that your campfire is 100% as there are root fires that can develop otherwise.

Very nice location!! Camping pits are very small until too small for cars. Area for bigger rigs or camping cars are not leveled, so bring enough stuff to make yourself comfortable. Price is now 105,- for camping per person.
Internet available but slowly and half the time off.
4G Cell C reception.

We had a terrific shoebill experience here. It cost 150,000 for the boat and 25,000 each park fee. Three hour trip.

Thanks for this great spot! Had three days without seeing someone. Only nature and a campfire with see view. Wonderful! Made it with a Sprinter 4WD. Bikes with ground clearance will do it, too. A usual car might struggle in bad weather conditions - and it depends how much you love your vehicle, I guess.

Ouma se Huis is a formal B&B with a large lawn suitable for camping. The use of the B&B's facilities are allowed. These include, power connection, toilets, kitchen & water.

Camping muito bem estruturado, com 6 chuveiros quentes, ganchos nos banheiros, quiosques com churrasqueira, cozinha compartilhada com fogão, geladeira, microondas. Tem mesas e cadeiras também. O Edson, que mora e cuida do camping, é uma pessoa incrível, muito viajado, cheio de histórias e dicas de turismo. 30 reais por pessoa. Recomendo muito!!

I stayed here in my van for the night while driving from Austin to Dallas. It is definitely not quiet or secluded. Cars drive by throughout the night and traffic picks up obviously at 7am when people are going to work. It’s a regular neighborhood street. I had my dog with me and there was plenty of grass and new smells to sniff. Reception was really good for AT&T.

En:Good place to park and sleep, is on a fuel station, have restaurants, and bathrooms with free hot showers, with you lucky you can get a nice shadow.

Ferncliff Forest advertises camping by permit only. I emailed in to apply the day of and never heard back. Stated on a sign that overnight camping by permit only, but I slept in the very lovely forested parking area, right off the road but quiet, for 1 night. Not bothered, no knocks. Probably gets busy in weekends. Maybe 10 cars pulled in before noon on a Monday. Good for a night, especially with very limited options in the winter as all campgrounds are closed. great if can aquire permit.

Free RV, car, and van camping. No tents. Stay limit 14 days. Pack it in pack it out. No facilities. Fire rings. Road in good condition. Many big rigs and a few vans. Many spots 50+. Road in mostly great condition. Spots go back for a mile or so. Little library near gate for book exchange. Some residents set up hummingbird feeders. Close to Organ pipe and Why. Enjoy!

Kjeragbolten is located over Lysebotn and is most famous for the stone wedged between the mountain.
