Couldn’t agree more with the last comment! This place is well worth the price. I’m betting the cost of the ingredients alone for these dishes would add up. New, creative, and delicious “sweet” and “salty” breakfast/brunch each week. You’ve got to try their horchata coffee. We heard they are changing the days from just Friday to Sunday, so maybe message ahead if you were thinking of a Thursday. Added some photos!

Comme décrit, à droite une petite descente de bateau près de la route donc on entend les camions mais avec des bouchons il n’y a aucun souci. Endroit calme près de l’eau. Pas beaucoup d’espace pour la haute saison.

Yes, the beginning of the road, where everyone else is camping / some people probably living, is full of RV’s and trash, but if you just keep going a couple miles on 25rd, all the way out to the book cliffs, it is secluded and beautiful! Highly recommend this spot if you need a campsite very close to GJ, but yes, there are way better spots if you’re willing to drive a lot further out of town.

Juan Cristóbal and his team are extremely helpful and will help you with anything you need, not just with solar issues. I came here with a completely discharged battery and he tested the whole system to ensure it wasn’t having problems and then proceeded to charge my battery for 24 hours to get it back to normal. He is very knowledgeable and can help with anything solar related. He didn’t even charge me for the work.

40 bol for Volkswagen Kombi, it’s the flat rate. If you have a bigger rig, you’ll probably be asked to pay 50.

Very quiet rest area and don’t hear any highway noise. Lot was almost full when I arrived at 10 PM, but had no problem finding a spot.

easy to find. level gravel area suitable for larger RVs but if you are towing a vehicle you will probably have to unhook to turn around. we are 38ft plus flat tow jeep and with tree branches and other cars etc needed to unhook to get into a spot for the night but that was no problem.

Exit Mozambique was fast and easy. Additional too the passport they want to see the receipt from the entry free, which we got at the Mount Selinda border.

Enter Eswatini was also easygoing.
In total, 10 minutes, including the selfie with the border police 😉

Wanted to leave a review since there hasn’t been one in a while. It is a longer drive down a dirt road but it’s pretty smooth, just took it slow. This is a unique spot, natural rock formations are cool and it’s fun to walk around and up the rocks. We found a flat spot at the front of the rocks facing out towards the fields/mountains. Be careful of sand! We did fine with fwd. Very little people out here. We stayed during the week, so no atv action. We did have a man come up to our van and ask us how long we would be staying and he gave us a history of the place. Said he was a “blm volunteer”. Have never heard of that in 2 full time years of vanlife ?? but he was nice. Think he might’ve been a self appointed volunteer. The next guy that came up on an atv, waved me out of the van and started asking questions about the starlink (which got good signal btw). Felt like these were locals monitoring the area? Not sure but it was kind of weird. We only stayed 2 nights, but it’s blm and there are specified camping areas so we knew we were good to be here. Next- this time of year the grasshoppers are INSANE. They are massive and come out as a huge group in the afternoons, stay til dinner then disappear and do the same thing the next day. They hop around like frogs but they are scared of humans. Was something else though! Overall glad we came to check this area out.

Very nice campsite. Six campsites with private clean ablutions, kitchen with sink and spacious shaded area. Very friendly and caring owner / manager. Close to Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp for a lunch or a sundowner. Highly recommended.

Nice place to camp if your visiting Durango. The camping area is well set up with running water (not potable) electricity and good wifi. We were here in the dry season, but it could be muddy during rainy season. There are lots of covered shelters with concrete poured pads within the pool areas, it would make a great addition to the camping area if they added a few (it would provide more shade and perfect for rainy season). Campers can enjoy the pools after hours. Very quite at night with cooler temperatures for sleeping.

On National Forest land next to the drive just before it turns into the Bakerville - Loveland Pass snowshoe/ski/bike route.

Across Clear Creek and some nice beaver works from I-70. Traffic noise (including downhill-bound truck engine braking/jake-brakes), but traffic volume does drop off in the wee hours.

Great campsite which is fr
ee out of season. Very clean bathrooms and showers can be warm if the sun is out. There are a couple of small supermarkets in the park and some other shops are open on the weekend but best take your own food in from Fray Bentos.

Beautiful campsite surrounded by nature, we saw more animals here than in any national park (sloths, frogs, birds, etc.). A very quiet place to rest with the family. The place has a super clean kitchen, showers and bathrooms. There is even a portable washing machine available to customers. Very good wifi!! Water, electricity and good shade. Its owner Marco is super friendly and always willing to help and share the nature that surrounds him. Beautiful views of the Arenal volcano. Super recommended!

Better to stay somewhere else. Room was dirty, food is really overpriced and the camel desert trip is twice the price than when booked through other places eg Auburge Nassar

Nous n’avons pas eu besoin de donner notre nom à la sécurité.

This information is from an RVer and I can only vouch for the applicability to RVs. 4 separate campgrounds. 14 day limit at A, B &D. 28 day limit at C. Sites are $15/night. Mix of 30 & 50 amp sites. Shared fresh water connections. No waste/ gray water hookup. Onsite dump site, free of charge. Reservations must be made through campspot (app or web). I recommend using the website because the app doesn't allow you to select a site, it assigns one randomly. WiFi is available at campground A for a limited time during spring and summer

Lots of spaces to park our 40' RV overnight. Other than their intercom, it was pretty quiet & we were left alone. Gas prices were decent & store stocked.

Lots of places to park our 40' RV. Other than their intercom, it was pretty quiet and we were left alone. Gas was a decent price and store was stocked. Has RV dump site & fresh water. We paid $10 but if they had told us they take Good Sam, we would have paid $7.50.
