No complaints here! Water, electricity, dump stations, bathrooms, even 30 minutes of WiFi - all for FREE! Great spot!

Nice restaurant and lovely owners.
Food was delicious and very tasty: 7500 pesos for big menu or 6000 for small one with soup, main dish and natural juice (we ordered small menu and it was enough for us).
They also make and sell home made pumpkin bread and fig bread.

Very nice campground next to the ocean, 3 way hookups. The owners are very nice people, a lot of space for rvs and tents

Great little park with signs posted about allowing overnight parking here. Great for a single night stopover.

huge park with soccer fields and free access to toilets with power and water to refill our tanks. Some picnic tables and a playground for kids completely empty on labor day.

Very good mechanical workshop. We were here 2 weeks while repairing the engine our Mitsubishi delica 2.5. Luis is very friendly and we received very well !. We carry 10000 km from this arrangement, then we recommend 100% this workshop specialist in land cruiser.

Washrooms were closing at 6 pm. City employee offered to open them for us. The sound of the paper mill competes with the sound of the river which dominates the background noise. Smells like typical pulp mill though. Will ride bike DT tomorrow.

Great free parking after Labor Day! Walk to the beach.

New and very nice campsite at the rangerstation Tshiwanga. There are some quality but pricy bungalows, tended camps and a flat campground under trees for travellers with their own tents. And they actually construct some places for safaricars and big rigs. Ablutions with outdoor showers are new and made of a good quality. Drinking water is available. The Kahuzi Biega NP is one of the best places to visit for a unforgetable gorilla trek. The parc and the place has a long history. Only here you will find the biggest gorilla species - Gorilka graueri / eastern lowland gorilla. The rangers defended and protected this area successfull in the last 30 years and during all the wars in East Congo. It means here is a good chance to experience more then gorilla. Even the rangers and their stories. Very, very nice people here. And around the station there are some traditional pygme villages. So the rangers can organize some visits. Buy the food and your beverages in Miti (last village) before you come up to the station.
If you are doing a gorilla trek you can negotiate the price for camping. At last we paid the price for 25$ Night which is ok for the place here. In general the situation in this area is quit and secure. If you travel from Bukavu it will be safe (2018).

Excellent little café/Mezcal bar with an awesome vibe! Definitely stop by and get a mezcal from the region. They have dominos, jenga and cards. Also, pet friendly!

3 sites next to Erie Creek and 1 site across the road. picnic table and fire pit. Down a forest service road about 10 km-good condition. stay left at the fork, sites are after the bridge that crosses the creek. Nice and quite, sound of creek. Free!

The location is actually at the end of the road, not where this marker is. We stayed one night in a class C RV, lots of room and no one bothered us, the nearby trees are quite pretty and it's quiet and tucked away.

Free dry camping site located behind General Patton Museum. There is a campground manager on site so I would imagine camp rules are usually followed (I was the only camper during my stay). After passing museum, there is a sign for dry camping before you reach the gas station. The gas station is about a ten minute walk from the campsite and is open 24/7. They allow you to use their facilities, which is a huge plus. You can see and hear I-10 from the site, which is the only drawback, although for me the sound was constant and more like white noise. I’d rather have that than noisy neighbors. Stayed 5 nights with easy access to Joshua Tree.

Barking. All. Night. Long. And not off in the distance, but in the same yard or the one next door. Also charged us 25 q more than was listed on here, even though it’s the rainy season.

Amazing place. Incredible views. Don Fernando and Doña Vera are too nice. This is a small farm. Chicken, small dog, tucanes, cows and many other birds. We milked cows and they gave us truly organic cheese and milk from the farm. Internet is ok. Acces is good. We made it woth a big truck camper. Nice bathroom and shower. Seriusly highly recommended. We stayed 4 night.

Beautiful campsite in a forest on a hilltop. The final 200 m to get there are a very steep climb, so be prepared.
I was there at the end of high season and it was very quiet. The campsite has roughly 40 pitches, but less then 10 were in use at the time. most pitches are more or less secluded and all are level. Ideal for overlanders. Very quiet. At current time no BBQs of any kind allowed but that might be because of draught.
Swimming pool, playground for kids, dogs allowed. Complex pricelist , but I payed €12.50 for 1 person 1 night in a Landcruiser, which is pretty much the bare minimum.
They offer bread and croissants in the morning if you order the day before.
NOTE: they are only open in high season! This year they closed on 12 September, but 2 weeks before that the restaurant was already closed, so no pizza. And reception only open for 2x 1 hour a day.
Ablutions are simple but clean. Still €0.50 for 5 minutes of hot water in shower. Bring toiletpaper.

Great spot to get a shower, not the cleanest but the are hot (in season) $.50 for four minutes, $.75 for 6 minutes and $1.00 for 10 minutes. Four minutes is plenty.

Price now $150/person plus $150/car. Huge inflation 1 USD = 37 ARS.

still 5 dollars pp. great food. just very close to a Muslim loudspeaker that wakes you up at 4.30am. good thing is that you can park your car for free if you want to visit Pemba
