Brilliant guest house. We had a room for three people with bathroom and hot shower and cost a total of 25000 RF dinner was an extra 3000 and well worth it. Very friendly staff, secure parking, very clean and by far the best value for money in the area!

Big parking just near the sea, we park near a house, really Nice for one night or more ! Free ...

Grand parking à côté de la mer, on a demandé où se garer à une dame qui gère le parking, elle nous a mis à côté d'une maison. Super endroit pour une nuit ou plus ... Gratuit !

No offense, but this spot is just a flat spot where sand was quarried. There are many nicer more private places to camp.

We enter the park around 6pm, there was no one at the registration but the barrier was open. Go straight on the road (not left on the parking) that goes in the river. We slept close to the little shop that was empty. No one saw us and bothered even though we saw many motorbikes going left to the parking.
We woke up before 8am (opening time) and drove to the parking to do the visit and refill our water tank with a watering hose.
No problem when we left later, we guessed that we avoid the parking fee (10000k?).
No noise apart from the waterfalls, birds and cows, toilet before the ticket office of the park (not sure it's open during the night).

Pass the end of Di Diorgio Road, and keep going. There are several unmarked pullouts. Flat, amazing views, and right near the superbloom of Desert Sunflowers and Verbena during blooms.

We asked the security guards if we could overnight.

They had no problems, we gave them a piece of cake.

The other day we used the bathrooms and also bought at La colonia supermarket (expensive).

There is also 3 ATM’s inside the mall.

Good for a night, during the day leon is super hot.

A nice guest House run by Donna and Victor. A haven in a tropical garden with pool and outdoor seating, on site restaurant. Popular and close to beach and city. Rooms 100 cedi, with zircon, fridge and some have seating area.
Secure parking inside (height restricted) or 1 outside as there are guards all night. I parked up and ate in restaurant.

Didn’t end up staying here. It rained recently (still water on the roadways, as well), and the campground (field) was full of standing water. There were some narrow high rises that could’ve worked in a pinch, but we’re looking for a comfortable spot for a couple of nights. We travel full-time in a Jeep with rooftop tent + annex. Would definitely stay if the ground was dry. Surrounded by peaceful, beautiful fields and cell coverage was usable (AT&T). Also a couple of sturdy picnic tables. Heading down to Burns Campground.

We asked the guard if we could park and stay in our van overnight and he kindly agreed. He was very friendly and showed us the staff showers at the back we could use (we didn't so can't speak to its cleanliness etc), allowed us to use the electricity from the sockets outside under the lights, and the petrol station has clean toilets and decent food options (coffee, hot dogs, pizza as well as the usual petrol station food staples). wifi worked ok if you were close enough to the shop using password from previous check in. we ended up giving the guard 100 Cordoba for his assistance. felt very safe, just a bit noisy on the main road on occasion, and lights from the station could be distracting if you don't have curtains/blinds. but for us it was a perfect place to stay for a night.

We stayed here for one night. It was free to camp here. There are toilets and showers, they are not in a good condition, but it’s free. You can refill your water tanks here as well. Slow WiFi free as well. Busy during the day, quiet at night, plenty of shadow.

Also called Torre something or other where they have zip lines. At the end of the peninsula. Basic, but shaded and right on the lake. 20,000 per night (for up to 4 people I think she said, not sure if that is per person or not). Plus 10,000 entrance.

Small parking lot outside of the lighthouse area. No signs prohibiting overnight parking. Right off the road but very quiet. No one pulled in once it was dark - cars do park here during the day to walk down to the water (there’s a great little snorkeling spot right under the bridge). Big rigs might be okay, but would like be best if 25ft or smaller to respect the grass area. Plenty of room for pets to roam. There’s technically room for tent campers as there’s plenty of grass, but I’d try to be gone by early morning since there’s a walking trail head in the parking area.

Good place if you don't fancy searching for a wildcampspot. Quit big area, just enter and find a spot. Some spots have light and electricity. Toilets smell and no seats, but look rather clean. Showers seem to be hot! Lady came by beginning of the evening for payment: 100pppn, kids don't pay. In our opinion totally worth it!

We shipped our car from Piraeus to Alexandria with Grimaldi and CFS handled all to get is on the road.
Very helpful, very friendly. Nermien, Fathi and the team are a great help.

We heard stories that things do get stolen from your car in the port. CFS had nothing to do with this, but prepare your car so nothing gets stolen. Even small items, pens, sleeping bags etc do get stolen (real kleptomaniacs I guess).
