they are in the process of cutting down the forest but one can still find an access road into the woods to spend a quiet night with a bit of road noise.

Hector was around on zaterdagacteren kon. On Sunday he arrived at 10 to open thé gate of his 5000 ha plot. 200 cows running around but dung is cleaner on thé campsite. Very dry region end of summer. But smal spring still Running. Watertemperature of thé embalse was very nice but thé standing water looked a bit dirty for swimming. Very quiet place.

Ótimo lugar para acampar e passar uma noite. No verão pode ser bem movimentado durante os finais de semana.

Many spots along the dirt road but not so many leveled. The first part of the road is soft sand/dirt and there were 6 inches of sand/dirt in the middle of the tracks. Noise from the road. Watch the birds and rabbits.

As said before, camping right at the beautiful lagune of bacalar!
For most people it‘s a daytime hang out and chill area (day-pass $35) but you can also camp overnight (as of march19: $150 pP). We were there during the weekend with perfect weather meaning yes, it was crowded but still okay (probably even more relaxed during the week). From 6pm on we were almost alone just two other groups with tents. Really quiet during the night, just the normal barking of some dogs here and there.

Pro: BEAUTIFUL place to chill, enjoy the fresh water and view

Con: toilets are taken care of and cleaned but still a little gross

We would say it‘s overpriced for what it is (the restaurant too) but it‘s still an amazing set-up. We would absolutly stay here again!

This was our first spot that we camped in Baja and only stayed one Night. We paid 19 USD which was a little pricey. No negotiating. Nice clean bathrooms. Didn’t try the showers but heard they were salt water. On low tide you can dig a hole in the sand and make your own hot springs.

Good tours of the lake. Quiet overnight spot too. 24hr parking for 17,000. We took a long type of the lake Worth a great typing man named Carlos. Although the cost of the tour is usually 200,000 pesos per boat we negotiated to 150,000 plus a stop for lunch and swimming. Highly recommended. Call Carlos at 350.285.0912.

Great place to park in LA. We parked our sprinter van here all day while we explored the city, came back and spent the night here. Quiet and flat. No no signs or issues.

we stayed here during carneval. the airportmanager welcomed us very friendly. we could stay for free and use the airport WiFi and toilet and fill our water. very friendly staff! the main gate to the airport closes now at 7pm, so we drove out and parked outside the gate and in again in the morning. on saturday it was open all night so we could stay, you have to ask, but dont trust everything. on sunday they told us it would be open all night but it was closed when we came back, so we entered through a hole in the gate we found. all in all a very comfortable and quiet place to stay we can recommend.

After the night I can confirm the bad thing: it’s really noisy for people having a bad/light sleep ! I spent a really bad night hearing the fast fast cars !
But owners still very nice, gave me a full thermos of hot water :)
And there is today (Sunday March 3) a really nice big feria acostumbrista de comida (kuchen, empanadas, mariscos, Cordero... cerveza, bailando cueca...)

40s for private room, private bath. Poor water pressure= no need for shower curtain. Secure garage parking for motos, maybe 1 or 2 cars. A very nice family lives garage level, and their son, David, speaks pretty decent english and has hiked loads of places in Peru.

very nice place with a great view down to the plains of Queen Elizabeth NP. Nice chalets clean ablutions. no bar no restaurant but great service. If you want to drink a beer or eat a pizza quatrostatione, they bring it from the village.
no WIFI but good MTN Network.
Camping US$ 15 ppn Chalets US$ 100 which seems to me to be overpriced by far.
The place is in direct neighbourhood to the mosque. You do not need a clock when you have to leave early in the morning.
one star minus because of prices
