Costs $10 to stay on the beach plus $3 each person. But not much between the water and the shore. Beach is hard pack. Lots of mosquitoes. And alligators too apparently. But nice hiking trails thru the marsh. All in all a lovely spot. We used the RV dump and took on water.

Everything grilled in this market at the roadside. Got chicken and fries for 500 kw, tasty! Also fruit, beers, spirits and cigarettes are sold.

Place to buy mandatory car insurance for Malawi. Cost of 21,000 MK for 30 days. Much better to buy at the border and avoid the police check hassles and fines.

Small camping area for one rig. Our 7 metre truck barely fit. price is now 7,500 MK pp which includes a very modest continental breakfast. wifi is available by buying a Skyband package. Beautiful gardens and quiet little place but a little expensive.

We felt a bit ripped of as he asked for 500 pesos (10 €) for tightening the nut of our homocinética. We knew what had to be done when we arrived there and other mechanics asked for 100 pesos when we had the same problem before.

Simple hôtel but really good Indian staf.
First they ask me 30 000 for double room. I asked for camp and they told me we give you room for cheaper price. 20 000. After I asked if they have cheapest room like 15 000. The owner say no problem you pay 15 000. Every room are the same. In his restaurant he told me the price is cheaper too for me.
Different mentality than other hotel.
Room are simple the real value it s maybe 20 000 maximum.
They have small parking, and small green area too.

great place. try the lamb board at the tourist home there has wi-fi open.

New hostel. Really nice owner gave us a discount ARS 700 for a full bed with private bathroom and A/C. They have dorm room type accommodation also but not sure about the price. Includes breakfast, common area with tv, kitchen, and the back patio is still under construction. Very clean because it’s brand new and very good location because it on Ruta 40.

This place is at the beach and has showers at the beach also close to Restaurants and only a short walk to the old town centre. We stayed here for a nights without any problems, really like the old town centre a lot of history. Be careful we almost missed the entry to the parking lot.

This places sells all kinds of meats and cheeses at reasonable prices. Great variety, looks clean. Came highly recommended by the owner of a burger place when we asked him where we could buy meat. He said that most smaller supermarkets in town get their meat here and then sell it in their stores.

Drove this route on a Thursday. No construction delays. But the road is jammed with big trucks climbing and decelerating slowly. Just takes patience, good brakes and time.
