Arrived late afternoon after visiting the city and spent a good night here. Only one other RV overnight.

Nice place to stay one night. Safe and quiet. No facilities. In the morning a lot of people come with their trucks to park and 'climb' the hill by bike. Very good place with trees, shadow and no wind. Motorvehicules it is not allowes to enter the park Aguas claras, everybody stops in this parking lot, outside. Not allowed to camp inside the park too.

We could recommend this garage enough. Even though we have a Mitsubishi Delica, they were able to service our van. The shop is clean and the mechanics are professional. And being a Toyota dealer, they warrantied everything preformed. Great garage!

Expensive basic cabin (only option). Road to get here is very slow and rough. Only recommend if you have a 4x4 and the cabin was really not worth the money. Electricity went off after an hour and it was drafty.

What a place to camp! Amazing panoramic view of craters and volcanos. It’s 4km from the pin on the map. Quiet, clean. Breathtaking sunset, the most stars I’ve ever seen and gorgeous sunrise over the Andes. Worth the drive! Did it in a 2WD on a dry day with no problems. 12,000 CLP to pass the ski lodge. Hikes all around for different angles.

What an incredible campsite/lodge. Entry diagonally opposite the main gate entrance of Lake Manyara Main Gate. This is a MUST for anyone passing. The service is incredible from the camp manager Willy and the bar/restaurant manager and every single staff member couldn’t do enough to make sure you’re happy. It has an incredible infinity swimming pool and views over Lake Manyara and a one night stop turned into 3 days and we had to force ourselves to move on. Fantastic ablutions. Truly brilliant and highly recommended.

After a very heavy dry season an water problems, Is our parking Lot again open for all overlanders for COP 45'000/ Night for 1-2 pax. Aditional pax. COP 10'000, kids until 12 years for free!

My favorite place to dump. Lots of space, no lines and kid goes and play with dinosaurs.

A bit noisy to plan to stay overnight in my opinion.

Lakeside resort camp along Garden Route near Knysna

The only positive would be that the shower was hot. But this place is in decline, no maintenance for a while. No spa, would not jump in the dirty pool, toilets ok, dirty shower, water leakage everywhere. It feels like the vervet monkeys took over. Price: 99 + 37 rand pp. Would not stay again.

We registrate us at the police station. The lady there was very friendly.
It was Saturday and up to now 6 p.m. It is very quiet at the lake. But there was no restaurant. The police waked us at 3 a. m. only for the question "Esta bien"

More secluded and less people than govt wash. Easily navigated with our 4x4 sprinter 144. Access to lake and great sunset. 4 bars of AT&T. A piece of trash here and there... C'mon people.

Guided by IOverlander update we came to Bahia Del Lago to find a place to park and camp with rooftent.
We paid 60 Q to stay here for one night or 2 pearsons and a SUV with tent. Could use showers, water, toillets and electricity. Even good wifi at the hotel lobby.
You park and camp on a grassy place with a perfect view of the lake.
This place is reached when you come down the road, before you reach the city. It is a little road maybee 500 meters before The town. A good reference is the entrance of a big resort.
Yo can use also the pool if you ask.

very peacefull. nice track around the camping where the kiwi lives. at night they show them selves very often. The owner have red plastics for on your headlights to spot the kiwi at night.

The biggest supermarket we’ve come across in a very long time and open 24/7. Akin to a Asda or Costco. Everything you could want, fresh or otherwise.

We slept in the car park as we were broken down. No one minded and other truckers were doing the same, so also an option if you really like supermarket car parks.

Iranian style hotel in the center of Neyshabur. Decent big rooms, clean, wifi, breakfast.
Double rooms around 2'000'000 Rial (April 2019). We paid 5'000'000 for 5 people (2 rooms). Car parking available, safe place for bicycles inside house.

On this point the track to the gas crater starts. It is clearly marked in maps.me as well. It should be possible with a 2wd as well.

Small parking lot, good views and quiet. No facilities. Big vehicles can park here but will have to go up a steep, narrow, winding road
