We stayed here one night and parked next to the sign "Torres del Paine National Park", opposite the toilet facilities, which were open all night. No issues at all as described by previous travellers. We arrived after the office closed and left before it opened.

They asked 10$ p. P. - we negotiate to 9$. The breakfast is really good and filling. The location is very central, but for us sleeping in a camper with a pop-up roof to loud as there is a lot of traffic at the west gate. Quite bussy on the streets on Saturday evening.

Stayed here one night, would have stayed more but worried about theft and breakins, as we’ve heard from every local are rampant. It was pretty noisy but not unbearable, though we were woken up at 5:30am Sunday morning by a rock n roll marathon with a full band. Like others said, bathrooms are dirty but certainly usable.
Also note it’s only accessible from the northbound lanes of the GG bridge, so if you plan on entering SF you have to pay the $8 toll every time. Not driving back into Vista Point from the south though.

Beautiful spot. Steep canyon with waterfall at the bottom and a small river running through. Well worth a visit (and overnight stay) of you're passing through between Oaxaca and San Christobal or vice versa.

Amazing food and really nice people. $3 Lunch menu is cheap and as authentic as you can get. Other options seems nice too, but only the lunch menu fits my budget. Every time I am in Cuenca, I make sure to eat here!

The gate is still without lock. From the gate to the picnic area it is about 1 km ripio. You pass a small lagoon, we saw flamingos and other waterbirds there. In the rocks beside the picnic area we saw andean chinchillas. It seems that the place is very popular for the locals at weekends. We had a wonderful stay there, we can really recommend this place.

Yes, it’s a very well kept property. And yes, they’ve got the best private bathroom we ever had while traveling. But for us the highlight was swimming the Roaring Creek which meanders through the jungle along the eastern border of the premises for almost half a mile ...

We checked this area out based on the previous travellers spot but the area here although close to the other one is actually better. It is away from the street and quiet due to bushes and a bluff between this area and the street. The traffic control people in the area mentioned this area. It is to the right of the public toilets and showers. There is a drive into a sandy road for a short distance. The area is large and has some good flat spots good for big rigs. However since the actual parking area will be full with cars during the day you may not be able to leave with a big rig until the cars leave in the evening. Be aware you have to climb the curb to get to the sandy road. The view is spectacular. You hear the surf day and night so it should help you get a good nights rest. And the breeze here is continuous so wind blowing through your rig should keep you comfortable. We felt safe here and the traffic control people said the police frequent this area in the evening. Addendum: The police showed up one evening and said we cannot stay in this area because they can’t watch over us since it is out of the way and dark. They said to stay overnight in the parking lot and during the day to park on the dirt road. When parking in the parking lot at night don’t park where the cars do but near the yellow curb as asked by the parking guys to do. As always enjoy your stay and practice keeping the area litter free.

Camped here for two nights (4Runner with roof top tent), paid 30cop pn for two people. Facilities were basic but clean.

You’re within walking distance to the town centre and also have access to the swimming pool.

You don’t have much privacy as you’re essentially in the parking lot, but it’s a functional spot for a couple of days.

Don’t think anything bigger than a van would fit here though.

Adam and his crew is very friendly and funny. Sometimes he make Reggae Party’s at his spot. So it’s very cool to meet nice people there! Clean and beautiful! Place to be! Please check the way before you enter! Cars no problem! Trucks maybe to high, but it works!

Belize to Mexico:
park the car and enter the building. it costs 32.5bzd per person for border processing fee to get stamped out. cross the hall to cancel the tip. drive through the gates, take left at first roundabout, right at next roundabout, cross the bridge into Mexico and then park at Mexican immigration on your right. fill out form they give you (top and bottom parts) then go through immigration line, then to get your tip at office opposite the immigration line in same building (51usd plus 8.16usd tax for tip, 558 pesos tourist tax, and 200usd refundable deposit for bringing in car older than 2000 [300usd for cars 2001-2006, 400usd for cars 2007 or newer]),then to insurance next door which closes at 8pm. all was fine and friendly but lady at tip office was pretty difficult, said we couldn't pay deposit in pesos so we paid on credit card but then charged our credit card in pesos with a conversion fee. anyway, once done at the building, drive onwards and pay for fumigation (they accept bzd, mxp or USD) and then have car inspected by police who checked our van briefly. the line for immigration was long so the whole process took us over 2 hours.

Passing immigration from Belize took longer than we expected and it was dark by the time we were done so we found this place to stay for a night. staff were friendly and let us park our van at the front of their hostel and we got a double bed with private bathroom (hot water and decent pressure) for 500mxp per night. the place is clean and also has a shared kitchen, drinking water, lounge area, good wifi. was a great place to stay for a night after a long day of driving and crossing borders!
