Parking area for hikes on Mt Rungwe. A park office is under construction but not open yet so must get hiking permit at office in Tukuyu. Guide (required for all hikes) can arrange permit and lead you through the maze of small roads to the parking area. Local hotels/ campgrounds can arrange local guides. We had a great day with Donald, very knowledgeable and friendly. We paid about $20 for 2 people +$10pp park entry fee for an all-day hike to the peak. Nice hike through the native forest (saw two species of monkeys) and nice view from the peak.

Really welcoming. They told me I could camp anywhere. No water or electricity but I got given water to wash and cook. African shower and toilets

This place is amazing and Guntar the owner is a great man. He towed us few blocks with his Jeep and didn’t asked any money for this. Then he let us sleep in the parking for free and the next day he did a great job on our Van in a good price.
He was very kind and helpful.

Passamos 2 noites tranquilas em frente à praia e ao lado de restaurantes. Durante o dia um homem toma conta do estacionamento e nos pediu 15,00/dia pra ficarmos lá oferendo usar a energia do local. Como não usamos disse que não pagaria já que o local não é privado.

Camping on this place needs to be booked and payed at Kokotsha Kgotla. Please support local community. This is part of the KD12 concession and military do patrols here to enforce no illegal camping.

Free Parking in Ursulines Ave and Philip St near Armstrong Park and Rampart Street. Many spots.
We parked here for 4 nights, we didn't sleep here, we were in an hostel.

parking lot leading to trails. rv/big rig friendly. many more sites nearby (use discretion) to the north. isolated. between 3 - 7 vehicles travel road or use lot per day. sometimes less. i am here for 2 weeks. beware cactus with pets. lots of cool rocks.

Great place to stay. Wifi was spotty both nights we stayed. can get very windy

few places beside the lake with a wonderful scenery. No amenities, only a couple of stones fire ring. Highway quite noisy but not during the night.

Stayed here for 1 night, security said it was fine! We parked at the end of the parking lot and didn't get disturbed. There's people walking through the park during the day but quiet at night. Potable water available in the park and clean toilets available for 20 cents open 6am to 6pm. Probably the nicest street parking we've done in a city for a long time. Would reccomend. Normal sized car parks so maybe not suitable for big rigs.

Nous étions 3 mini modèles B et deux voitures de Ioverlanders sur la plage.
Ne pas s'essayer de nuit, sol difficile à jauger.

nos quedamos dos noches pero daba para quedarse mucho más... hermoso lugar, con mucha sombra para acampar sobre la playa. corre una brisa fresca súper agradable. 25.000 la noche para dos adultos y un niño y adicional 10.000 pn para usar la cocina. mucho mejor que en Palomino en precio y en tranquilidad

very bin specialist land rover. many pieces. garage very professional. I made drain and all levels. Defender and Range Rover. very friendly and speaks english. correct price. I also made duplicate keys.

Bad service, twice the price of the other restaurants, try the Sodas with a grill! we've had excelent roasted chicken. We just wanted something to eat and wifi after a long ride, but that took an hour even after some reminders. when we decided to leave and were paying some under cooked dishes appeared quickly and it took another five minutes to actually pay and leave.

Had the best stay in this little oasis. The most friendly, helpful and attentive hosts. Calvin and Leanne went over and above helping us with a place to leave our car for a few weeks nearby, fixing a small rattle on the car, planned a fun cooking class for the Overlanders and knew so much about the area and all the spots nearby that you want to check out.
A few blocks from the big tree in Tulle. Easy 20min bus into town. Clean bathrooms and showers. Only good things to say about this spot!

Such a peaceful place for the night! The community here is trying to resurrect this tourist ghost town and is actively supporting campers in many fields around town. There is still a full-time population of 8 people in town so it still feels like a very safe place!

Nice views of the surrounding farmland and there are interesting buildings with antique items around town

Everything is new and clean .
We paid 1400 lempiras for 2 persons with breakfast.

Very nice and quite place. 200 NOK per car with no electricity and 220 NOK with electricity.

Amazing, authentic Korean food. The staff are welcoming and very, very nice. Absolutely worth the turn off Hwy 5 into Valemount. You won't be disappointed.

The coordinates for the turn off weren't exact, we passed it. The coordinates I now entered are correct. Further down the road is the Gregg Cabin Rec site, self registration. Otherewise, as described.

About 10/
15mins off of hwy 40. You will pass Gregg River Cabin rec site on ur right. Keep following gravel, at crossing keep left along the river. On the left hand side there are some spots on the river (but were taken when we came) if u drive a bit further, just before the bridge, there are some spots on ur right. One super large one for big rigs. Due to the water lots of mozzies in August!

Nice and quite sandy place by a shallow lake. Not really has a way in, there are some tracks but most of the way in from the road is imagination...
4x4 might be good.
Cold AF during the night.

we parked here during the day and had no problem. it wasn't quiet until until 2.30am before that it was like during the day! the traffic starts at 6am so not a lot of sleep.....but safe.

Extorted here by brown shirted government employees (said they were federales). Main crew of 8 walked off for maybe a break. Two remaining waved me to checkout lane, asked for 2 dollar US. Said no. Asked for fifth of tequila they found in my back seat. Said no. Made me get out for frisking. Demanded tequila fifth again. Gave it to them. They shook my hand, with fist bump, smiling. On my way. Bandidos.

Visited during the day only. Ample parking but crowded by midday mostly from tour buses. Stairs were open up and down the falls.

A bit hard to get to from the North (from the South end probably easier), a very fine and remote boondocking spot.
