In 2008 the ferry going from Fuergrventura (Canary Islands) to Tarfaya got wrecked due to bad weather. It is stuck ashore and it makes an interesting view on the coastal road to El Marsa and El Aaiun.

3 cabins with cold shower, nothing else, very convenient

corrupt police with number mae-1113. they look for any reason (for us prohibited walkie talkie) to make problems.

We spend the night here. Very friendly staff. They let us park it where we want. They have "shower" but is more like a higher faucet 😅. Cold but since is very hot out it was more than ok. The woman's bathroom wasn't available so my girlfriend had to use the male one. Bit didn't have any problem. The place to sleep it was great no so noice compared with others petrol station!

Small road to the beach. Very sandy. 4x4 needed

Paved picnic area pullout with two tables and garbage cans. Area will fit large rigs. Road noise at night, as highway is 30 get away. No restriction signage. Sleep, rest, spend the night, that's all.

Still there and free to use! Dump and fill. There is a green hose attached you can use if you need it too. Called and asked and they said it is potable!

This is where the security guard sent us after we parked on the other place downtown. When we got here several other motorhomes were here too.

Not so close of the beach, but it has plenty of space, water and electricity.

$20 for all day parking. RVs ok, you just pay $20 for however many spots you take up. Lot is 24 hrs.

Typical rest area with picnic tables, flush toilets, parking for all sizes rigs, water fountains, WiFi near the building, security, water spigots (seasonal?), highway noise.

Great place to camp, as described above. Easy to find flat places and shade.

Also asked the police and we’re directed to the back of the police station. We got here at 6pm and didn’t really want to continue the drive towards Huarez with night approaching so will camp in our van here. Looks pretty good.

google maps took me to the very wrong place, much more east than kitchen stopover

Drove out here with my motorhome (3.5 ton, 2WD). The originally marked spot is rather small and directly next to the dirt road. There seem to be other options nearby, but none of them were easy to level or to my liking. Drove on. Was rather a waste of time to check it out.

Safe, rather quiet, free, friendly staff, good place for a night. No WiFi. They are closed from 10 pm till 6 am, but there is a night guard.
Last gas station before Asunción.

Called and asked permission to stay overnight in our camper van and was told it was OK and to park in the back. It’s a large lot RV designated spots in the back. There are many spots to choose from, and all appear to be very level. There is a train track behind the Cracker Barrel so we heard some trains throughout the evening and one in the late night but it wasn’t a bother. Overall a quiet night stay in a good location. Would stay again.

Almost missed this place because the sign is on the ground, But still open. Different types of empanadas (meat, chicken, vegetables). Paid 12.000 for 4 emp and 2 sodas.

Good cafe (2000) and kuchen (3000). Cuete little café with small terace at the back. Closed on monday and tuesday

Cute place close to the Rio Aysén.
Easy to access, following a little pass, near the crossing of the X-570 and the 240. It's a wild camping, seems ok for vehicles. We set up the tent without problem.

Note: this is *not* the Hotel Real Colonial which is across the street which looks more expensive.

I think the official name of this place is Hotel Clasico Colonial, but the sign says "Hotel Colonial."

Budget accomodations!

I booked this place through booking.com for US$8. Walk-in price starts at 280 pesos, so you'll want to book this online.

Rooms are small and basic, but clean, and there's hot water, a small desk and chair, and secure parking in the courtyard (large vehicles will not get in).

Wifi is not great, but it works enough to slowly back up photos and videos.

Price increased to 250 pp p night. The night we are on the train trip is not charged and we can leave the vehicle in their yard under camera surveillance .

Beautiful and shady place, wide and clean beach, friendly host family. Prices have risen a bit, $7 for fish with rice and salad, beer still $1 :-) The best place we found so far since Panama City. Toilet and shower, clean (as the whole lot seems well-cared for)

Reasonably priced Laundromat, not 24 hours, open 7am to 9pm every day. Signs in the parking lot clearly state no overnight parking.
