very friendly and quick service. Arrived at 6 p.m. at his place, short waiting time (15'), all done in 30'. We had a screw in our tire, paid 10k ARS after a little negotiation to get it fixed professionally (tire off, large patch on, tire back on). can handle big rigs (has jacks for big trucks up to 40t).

we drove the ruta frim south to north with camper truck, 5.5t. our conditions: dry and no wind at all - no problem to use this road, some sections were rocky or loose gravel, but going slow at these parts absolutely ok with any rig size. we had normal cars going by, 40t-trucks, big tourist buses.
however, before you go: check with locals if the road is wet/rain is coming-then it will be very slippery and deep mud to get stuck in!

This place is not closed. Went in and asked and was told "of course you can stay". There were 5 or 6 other RVs that spent the night without a problem. I would stay here again.

very quiet street. we visited the brewery, then moved the van out onto the dead-end street. There is a slight incline, but it's not bad. 5 bars with verizon.

Stopped here to sleep and use the showers. Probably would have been fine but was quite noisy, small parking lot and the showers were $18! Moved just to the north to the rest stop which was quieter and also has washrooms but no shower.

As stated, there were other overnight vehicles. The Planet Fitness is open 24/7. It was slightly above average on noise, we could hear and feel the semis moving through the lot a few times, but nothing that kept us up. There was a police car in the lot in the morning, not showing any interest in any of us. Thanks for the spot.

We arrived from the Casualidad track. We didn't need an escort. We went to the guard post to ask if there was wifi. We were able to use the internet and the toilets. There are also hot showers. The security lady even offered us a very good meal for free without even being asked for anything else: incredible how kind Argentinians are!

Beautiful and calm place just in front of dunes. Not so far from main national road to Nouakchott. Good place to stop for the night after the Diawling parc and his uncomfortable track.

This place is an absolute (Moto) overlanding gem. Of course, it's on Google and Booking.com. It's got over 9.0/10.
We called Ronaldo on +506 83214745 and reserved over the phone.

Here's the deal:
- No A/C but you don't need it, you're on a hill with a lovely breeze, it's cool at night.
- Secure parking. Locked gate. Then a motion detector at 10pm for the accommodation. You can park your motorcycle right outside your room, well away from the road.
- Pool.
- He let us use the large washing machine free of charge.
- Great restaurant on site, reasonable priced. served by owner with a free liquor and great food.
- Comfortable, large bed.
- Breakfast included.
- Sunset view.
- 50USD if paid cash/card.

Lovely staff.
Try and beat that.

From Deadhorse, Alaska - to here, this is the first gas station that ripped me off. Even after arguing with the female attendant, she refused to correct it. $10 soles at least.

This rest stop, is south of Cambridge, and close to Buffalo & Pleasant city in Ohio.

It’s a small rest stop, commercial trucks park closer to the freeway and cars and vans park closer to the restrooms. There’s a fair amount of road noise throughout the night however, it was quiet enough to sleep & we were tired.

Toilets, vending machines, picnic areas, trash cans & dumpsters all available here. 5G att service.

Super quiet and low key camp site. Many spots to pick from. Right next to the river. When I went we arrived at 8pm there’s no gate you just go right in. There’s a post where you take an envelope and put $10 in it to pay for the night stay. We pretty much had the campgrounds to ourselves there was only one other van there. Cell service was ok we have a starlink so we hooked that up right away. The campsite is clean. There’s fire pits, bathrooms, grills, and water. We had our two dogs with us and they loved it as well.

A snowy, muddy drive in. Made it just past the railroad tracks and pulled into a spot as I didn’t want to push too much further.

Quiet, some occasional train noise here, guessing we were here a bit early in the season. We’d have pushed in further with better conditions. Glad to have awd

If you are in an RV, there is no 30 - or 50amp electrical. Only 110v outlets, so bring an adapter or choose another rv park.

The pool looks great, though.
