Everything as described. No Problems, really quiet. Stayed one night with three other Campers around.

I don't know the amenities. I see it as a very nice place next to the river but I have not camped.
Camping Club Almafuerte. Desconozco las comodidades. Lo veo como un lugar muy lindo al lado del rio pero no he acampado.

Laundry place, open til 10pm, last wash 9pm. Clean and with AC, nothing overly special but a good place to get your clothes clean.

This was the perfect spot! Big level parking area not too far off the road. Level with picnic tables and restrooms. 3 bars version. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views. No one came in throughout the night either.

Unfortunately the road kind of fell apart on the way in here. I arrived in dark so had to stay anyway but not really nice. And not really flat and tons and tons of bugs. I attached a pic of the road how it is now.. people came by in the morning but everyone super nice and just waved.

They have done almost half of the road now so only about 20 km of bad road. And it’s not terrible (maybe after days and days of heavy rain it is) some parts you can drive 60 and some parts 5. 4x4 not needed but high clearance won’t hurt :)

Cleanest car I ever had! But also had a service done. I came in just to ask if they could do it tomorrow as it was already 1pm. But I was out there at 5pm. They do what you tell them to do and they are fast but I didn’t feel like they were sloppy and you have to watch over them. Richardo takes care of you and he also makes sure it’s get done properly. All original parts as well. Good price and also his wife is lovely! 🙏

If you go another 1/4 mile there is a sizable ‘meadow’ on the left. It has a slight slant.

Great place to eat, clean, nice staff, huge portions of food, one dish can full 2 person easily and the best of all, cheap as f... 19.000 cop or USD5 pear meal.

Passing was easy. just make sure you have the exact amount we gave 50bs and even though they confirmed on 40bs he got mad when we asked for the change.

$3.00 for showers. No private stalls, at least in the women’s area that was true. Friendly staff.

Good for a night or two. There were lots of other vehicles on a Monday night but very quiet.

solid spot for stealth overnight. there is angle parking on both sides of the street, one side is a new apartment complex, one is a vacant lot. won't fit big rigs or vehicles much over 20' but I was fine in my van. felt safe, there is a grocery store/shopping complex a block away, only negative is the light rail coming through every few minutes but I slept great. wouldn't recommend for multiple nights. 3 bars Verizon/4 t mobile

I never found the fountain in the picture. I did find the actual spigot however. GPS does take you to exactly where it is. It is right near the playground and central shelter. Bigger rigs may definitely have an issue filling up here. Tiny lot to park in. I only use jugs so it was easy for me to fill up.
update: I did find the pump near the bathrooms as well. This one definitely not as accessible for larger rigs. But the one I mentioned previously could work better if you have a hose.

Propane refill tank is by the dumpsters in a far corner. Super quick process at 11:30am on a Tuesday morning. We refilled our 11lbs tank for $11.75. Thank you!

Carrefour supermarket, big shop, good bakery, fresh vegetables lot of choices

There are some great spots. 15 in particular is great looking with the creek right nearby however, there is a near constant natural gas odor. Sometimes the wind brings you a pretty strong wave of it. The smell drove me away, but if you can’t smell it may not bother you.

"Gomer Lane" is the name of this sweet little RV neighborhood on the north end of town, just under the Taos Mountains for your Tiny Home or Airstream or RV. Only 10 miles from Taos Plaza and Kit Carson Park or Taos Mesa Brewing. Only 3 miles from Taos Ski Valley Road. An easy 2 miles (nice bike ride) west of the coolest Taos village; 'Arroyo Seco'. Less than 5 miles to famous Medley restaurant. Private land and with lots of room, trees and a lovely mountain view... A seriously cool spot! Full hook up - Electric, water and septic. Longer term rental available. Very nice, safe, and comfortable.
$600 per month - Includes utilities and includes FREE WiFi!

Other places along this road are not too good for pitching a tent. Although the road is quiet at night, you’ll still be on a side of it.

Beach is magnificent, long and isolated! Tons of crabs. Some fishermen in the morning, but no one bothered

I highly recommend this beautiful spot! Quite central in Cajamarca (20 min walk from the center) but oh so green! We were received in this beautiful family owned farm and couldn’t help but stay for 10 days! The sisters and their dad working on the farm are just amazing and shared so much with us, explaining us their work and showing us around the many animals (cows, goats, geese, chicken, alpacas, pigs, horse, Guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats…) and plantations that they have. We had a beautiful green spot with trees and shade to park and setup, lots of space, all the services (hot shower oh wow), access to fresh products (not only organic vegetables but also fresh milk and eggs every day and meat from their animals). I have to admit we left with a few tears in our eyes!
