Nice place to camp, but lots of people in and out at all hours. Why I will never camp here again? Stupid drone flyers, how lame.

Be entertained by the rocking view, and by daredevils taking pictures standing on the sandstone knobs over the cliff.

Kind of remote, but very quiet camp spot along a small lake called Big Lake with a tiny boat launch, in the shade of big oaks. Sandy, freshly graded road to get here with 2 water crossings, but with a firm bottom. They might be dry later in the year. Inside the WMA, there's a gate just before here that is now open but might seasonally be closed. No amenities, weak cell service. Mosquitos abound as everywhere by the water... Go right for the main camp area and left for a few more sites slightly higher up.

When 25 goes south and 201 goes north towards Slate Creek Divide, 201 turns to single lane, and becomes steep and rough. I met a line of jeeps and they were able to back uphill fortunately. it is possible to get up here in a Class C if the road is dry, but it is sporting and many would not like the driving.

Yes, the road on one side has been clear cut. We still liked it here. Easy access, reasonably flat, gravel, lots of space. The road dead ends so it's not likely anyone will pass by. Plus, there's lots of wood in the cut if you'd like to start a small responsible fire.

great spot, just off the highway, can barely hear the road. lots of hammocking trees, few different spots tucked away in the trees for vans/buses/tents. open grass, few covered tables!

Rest stop with bathrooms and vending. Nice grass and some picnic areas. Cover/shade your windows to block the nasty amber street lamp from scorching your retinas.

Nice laundromat with strange, unmarked entrance. Either enter through the back of the store (G&B Fuels / Tags) or the unmarked side door to the small restaurant, then follow signs to washrooms and laundromat. Hours posted on restaurant window are 6-10, Mon-Sun.

Across Hwy 4 from the sign post forrest.

Big swimming pool complex with lots of different pools, a restaurant and events salon. The pools are nice and cool and fairly clean considering they’re open air under trees etc. There is a pond with two buffalos and ducks and also some horses around.

Two of us arrived on bikes and paid Q50 each to camp (it’s Q30 for pool entry + Q20 extra to stay in our tent). The friendly staff showed us around and let us choose a place to put our tent. There are lots of covered areas to shelter in if you have a free standing tent and the weather is bad.

They also have cabañas which would be Q200 for two people which I assume includes use of the pool. It’s open 8-1700 every day but wasn’t too busy when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon.

There was a guard with a shotgun at the gate when we arrived and we’re assuming he’s here for the night.
