Large public park with washrooms and a water fountain. Did not stick around but could not see any signs prohibiting parking overnight. Room for any kind of vehicle.

Area on side of dirt road. The road is very sandy. We actually got stuck at the turn around at the end so be careful about going too far. The sand is deep at the end.
After we dug ourselves out of the sand trap (lol) we found a nice spot to pull off for the night.

I didn’t end up staying here, was a little sketched out. I’m 90% certain this is NOT blm land. The website for Joshua Tree NP lists the blm lands available for dispersed camping and this is no where near those locations. Stay here at your own risk. If you do decide to go here, you may be ok without 4WD if weather has been dry. The road is rough, but I managed it in my Hyundai Santa Fe without my AWD engaged. It looks like the road gets tougher further down though.

Free dump and water, clean and no disgusting smell - great place! The cashier said that both water spigots at the dump site are potable.

Quite lot of space. Not the most beautiful spot but it's fine and legal to stay here.
Accessible with 2wd RV but I would recommend not going too far from the entrance.

Pulled in here after exploring some Missouri back country. Nice quiet some other truck campers and van lifers are here. Currently 10:17 Sunday may 5th. Quiet cell service is good enough to stream onto our tv from our phones. Fire stick through YouTube. Highway noise isn’t bad. Overall it’s a nice spot to pull into and not have to either pay for overnight camping or worry about ticks. Most of what we found to be an issue for us with the more secluded spots. We are worried about them getting on us and our pets and then getting into our camper. We don’t need plug ins so this is great for us. The loves listed above has 1 hour parking signs all over the parking lot. With it being that obvious we didn’t too spend any time or money there. Happy trails 🤙🏻😎

24 hrs laundromat. Prices for washers go from $2.75 for a single load up to $6 for a mega load (maybe 5 loads?). Dryers are $0.25 for a cycle (8 or 10 min depending on dryer).

Busy around 10 pm but quieted after 11 pm. A couple of unhoused people came through early on but were not disruptive or dangerous. The woman cleaning the place was very friendly.

We passed the boarder late and stoped at this place while it was already dark. It’s a small place without houses around. There is only the street in the front and the back is a steep hill. Spend a peaceful night only with cars and trucks passing by. You might need something for the ears since some trucks are struggling on their way up.

Can recommend the place. Friendly owner with a very big (and friendly) dog. Almost like a calf, never seen a dog big like this.
Small machine 2.5$
Dryer 2.5$
There is also washing powder for 2$

16$ for a day pass for a gym, a cardio room, different group classes by schedule, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, indoor and outdoors hot tubes, steam room, a dry sauna. Good showers with fans, wetsuits driers and a cold plunge pool. Community center was closed, so it’s the very good alternative!!

The road access is still blocked. We also slept next to the spring a little above the road, but there was quite a lot of traffic. Even at night there was still traffic and therefore quite loud.

We were a bit unfortunate: made a (prepaid) reservation for two nights. when arriving, they didn't offer a single of their (website) tours (no guides? and waterlevel too low). As well the electricity did not work. We stayed only one night (no refund for the already paid night) as there was really nothing to do.
So check before paying your stay if they do tours or not. 400pppn is pricey we think.

This area of the Chobe NP is highly recommended. We saw many elephants and hippos and the paths near the river are very beautiful. We didn't see felines. It's a free safari

What a lovely place! We were welcomed by Jose in a really heartwarming way. He opened up a chalet for us with hot shower in a very clean bathroom, we camped in our car in front of the chalet. Still 10US$ ppn.
Had a peaceful and quiet night. Don’t miss that place!

In our opinion absolutely overrated.
14US$ for a normal size piece of cheescake, that was good, but not the best we ever had, is too much.
Coffee: we had an espresso that wasn’t what you would expect, instead a big cup of normal coffee with average taste, but sure not an espresso italien style. We also had a cardamom coffee, which was tasteless, also just average, watery coffee, but topped with very sweet cream- but no cardamom taste at all. Each coffee was 7US$!
The surrounding is nice, but is definitely not worth driving up just for overpriced and average cake and coffee.
