Nice quite place by a beautiful lake and nearby a stream. 2.1m access and says 'No camping'. Asked a local and they said 'no problem, just for one night'.

Nice and quiet spot. Not a lot of cars passing in the night.

We had quiet some mosquitoes, maybe the season.

A restarea in the middle of nowhere. A nice place for cyclists to have a lunch and rest.

The best place to stay in Pointe Noire! Showers, toilets, water for our vehicles and 24-hour guard. We stayed here 7 days waiting for our DRC visa.

Uninspiring place to stay overnight in the village but it has services.

spots still existing. Track is poor, partly muddy. Some people here for fishing. I did actually not stay here. I don't recommend to have this place as last option for the evening/night.

the complete area before this place is a huge picnic area at the weekends. You will definitily find a spot on the meadows between the trees.
The good news: all the locals leave the place before sun set.
The bad news: not everybody is taking his trash home :-(
Nevertheless it is not too bad and quiet in the night.

Really nice lodge and campground. The campsites 2,3,4 and 5 are huge with grass. We were in campsite 4 and you could have parked four of our trucks in there! Each site has a lapa with a gas hob and sink. Also private ablutions which were spotless. You are camped right on the edge of water and we had hippos playing just below us. Also heard a crocodile moving through the reeds! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very peaceful night.

Most amazing place! Easy to find with the directions by previous people. We saw a lot of elephants, antilopes and heard lions at night. There are a lot of animals in the afternoon and evening but it was quite empty in the morning. Probably my favourite camping spot in botswana.

loved it! we spent here a sunday night and it was really quiet, just another van came to overnight in the parking lot but we didn't even realise it until the morning. there are a lot of mosquitos tho, so be prepared. the place itself its lovely and there is a nice bar as well. the bathrooms available even when the bar is closed (which is most of the time, since it's only open on sunny days from 12 to20). the place it's very tidy, the park is big and the lake is swimmable.
we spend there half of the Monday as well (remote working) and had a good time and a nice lunch at the bar 🍻.

We parked up at 4pm on Sunday, walked around the place, no signs to prohibit overnight stay, locals said it was fine but then at 7.30 the people from the municipality turned up in their pickup and said we're not allowed to stay the night and it was a new thing. Signs still yet to go up but they seem to be serious.

Clean machines. Wasn’t too busy on a Sunday $4 for wash .50 per 10 minutes of dry time. Staff on site. accepts card or quarters & there is a change machine!

$10 dump with potable water. Busy on a Sunday afternoon but easy fill up. Honor system!

Filled up 6 gallon jugs today! Right by the entrance bathrooms. Watch out for the parking lot police

Spot with make your own salads and wraps, have smoothies also. Big parking lot and open mall place next door

Great views. Windy, dead dry grass, lots of foxtails. Clean showers & bathrooms centrally located. Nice rangers.

Phantastic view, roadside on app. 3080m, very quiet, not before mid/end of June!!, 4x4 on gravel, muddy or steep sections required, 90% easy to go, comming from Van app 60km paved, stay on main track. Had to go back on other track coming from North very close (2km) to Kara Dagi 3700m due to large snow fields - no chance to pass or detour. Heading further on to Harrari.

On little platteau with phantastic view, all size of rigs, no beer today, very quiet, 4x4 recommended on main track, can be muddy, very steep and sometimes challenging. At police checkpoint comming from Van in valley before insist on having 4x4, then they let you go. 90% of track easy to go. Cheers

Little smalltalk, check passport, asking where to go, very friedly and polite. With answer heading to Harrari with 4x4 or bike with good off road tires no problem, ortherwise they send you back to Van direction on state road. Road not passable before mid/end of June due to road conditions like snow fields, mud or washed away sections. Cheers

Le prix été de 1$ pour 3mn et 2$ pour 6 minutes. Une alarme se fait entendre à la moitié du temps.

We had quite the experience here. Like with other travelers it was ,not‘ possible to stay at the police station and the Levies brought us here and vanished, even though we requested to visit the shop. So we went to the reception and asked for the price of a room. 3.500. No problem, seems okay. 3.500 per Person. We were really shocked and asked if we shared a room with a third person, who got the escort with us it might be cheaper. Didn’t budge. 12.000 for three people. Discussing a bit he went down to 10.700 and we couldn’t believe it. He made up totally random things. A nice police man at the station already told us that it shouldn’t be more than 3.500 and so we didn’t accept it and sat down in the lobby. The WiFi Passwort is room12345 and be prepared occasionally there is no electricity. They even called back with the police who again told us it is not possible with our 4x4 Campet to stay in or near the police station and we just argued we saw a French camper who did. Talking again with the manager, he suddenly went down with the prices. Still not near the 3.500 per room though. So we sat and at some point the Levies came and took us back to the police station and suddenly - we can sleep inside! the police station. It seems to make a huge difference if there is a woman travelling or not. At this point I don’t want to say it’s not a good idea to stay at the hotel. It’s not the best we have seen, but definitely not the worst. Just the price and the monopoly they have doesn’t justify, what they do over there.

Nice private rooms with bathroom and hot shower, for 10$.. rooftop, kitchen and big parking for either bikes or cars / vans.. few blocks away from the center..

great place for one night, nobody around, the road without traffic during the night, totally silence

Perfect spot on the river! We spend the night here on Sunday. People come here to swim and bathe in the river. The only noise at night is cars driving over the bridge, but this oké.

Stayed here after 5 nights of boondocking. Was able to take showers, do laundry and then took a soak. We stayed out in the dry sites with our back door of the van facing the sand dunes at sun rise. Worth it for the price.

Lots of options in this area, we stayed near 19th and Evans, near an office building for lease.. We pulled over to a spot a few times, only to find it was not very level side-to-side, but finally decided it was "good enough". It was relatively quiet over night, no issues.
