eric_on_the_road | Spent one night closer to the police. I was going to park on the other street, where there’s the pizza, but closer to the police. Asked them and they said to park here instead. No issues. No facilities. |

bea.the.beast | Beautiful view of the lake, high enough viewpoint. You almost feel a little too much in display because it's at the end of a residential road, but has green space, benches, covered gazibo, it's beautiful! And a few locals came to chat and didn't seem to mind us spending the night at all. Definitely worth a stay. No amenities. Corner store 3 blocks down has amazing selection of local beers. |

tmulder3 | Dispersed camping deep in the Stoddard Wells area. Plug coordinates into maps and use satellite view to map the road in. The road is all sand/dirt and big rocks. High clearance vehicles only. I made it in a 2WD truck. Site is surround by huge rocky hills so it makes it a nice private spot. |

pfopfi | Its right after the curve (or before, depends from which side you come from) and then you can turn right on a gravelroad, then drive till the end (ca. 50m). Here you can park save and hidden, there is only a little noise from the street but not bottering |

thronz | Large lot beside the Valmy, NV Chevron. Used by 18 wheelers and suitable for big rigs. On the west bound side of hiway, across from Valmy Rest Area (which is currently closed). Spent three nights here while having engine work done on tow vehicle. |

instagram.com/LeftyRiders | Manager is ok with people parking here overnight but requests that you park next to the Applebee's. It's a huge shared lot so just park off in the SW corner and you'll be good. Some road noise but not that bad. |

wadsackj | AMAZING free campsite! Beautiful views of the mountains, hiking nearby, and several old mines nearby to explore. Stayed in late May during corona, was the only one. Lots of spots with rock fire rings. VERY difficult road (3mi) to the area, but accomplished it in my FWD mini SUV. Hammock camped in the trees. Note there was a fire ban in place at the time. One pit toilet for the trailhead. |

jessica.bierk | Wild camping near Yellowstone National Park. Nice pull off near a stream. Has two spots for campfires. Gorgeous views. There is a spot more off the mountain further up ahead, but it was taken. This spot worked out great. Didn't have a problem getting here in our 170" Sprinter. |

overland_y | This spot is located right next to the the very beautifull Weißbrunn lake. It is a huuge parking place for hikers and visitors of the lake, but it is not asphalted, the total area is grass and there a lof of trees where you hide your vehicle. In the summertime there cam be many cars, but you will always find a free space and in the eavning everyone leaves and you can enjoy the beautiful nature all by yourself. Through the parking place are flowing some small rivers, which water you can drink. Next to the parking place is also a small restaurant with some traditional dishes. If you have some time, definitely go the the Fischersee, which is a 30min hike and leads to one of the most beautiful lakes in South Tyrol. |

hapikamper | TONS of free camping sites- 4 separate areas with 20-30 designated spots each. There are fire rings but we could not have open fire with the restrictions in place in late May 2020. Some trash on the ground unfortunately, but overall it’s a great spot with lots of options! |

biglovesmallworld | Free potable water spigot in the turn around in front of Heart Bar Campground. You’ll see the blue spigot sitting inside of a blue tub. The camp hosts are very friendly and offered for us to refill our water here, as well as dump our trash in their dumpster with no fee.
“Yellow post” dispersed camping is about one mile further down the road. First come first served, No fees, no amenities - pack it in and out. You must have a campfire permit in this area and be informed of any current burn restrictions, including the use of camp stoves. |
