Several water taps accessible in the park. People say it is drinkable, but I don't use it for drinking only for showering and cooking. You need a pipe of less than 10 meters.If you like Geocaching, there is the only SMA Geocache in this park.

3 nights very quiet and safe. Free WiFi in front of the tourist office around the corner. Water is a hundred meters away in Guadiana Park

Nice spot about 9-10 miles in on V2/10 road. Plenty of spots to pull off with great views of the hoodoos and mesas. A couple of spots where high clearance is needed but 4x4 not needed unless it’s wet.

Camp ground, good for trailers. Has 2 dump stations and hookups. No sewer.

Little flat spot with a couple homemade fire pits. Lots of shooting debris/trash which is unfortunate but is still pretty. Lots of “no camping” signs around but didn’t see one near this spot. Quiet and pretty.

Lots of pull outs in the area. Views of mono lake and the surrounding mountains. Solid Verizon signal. Running stream by most pullouts

They must have changed the rules. Both north and south lot said park closed from 10 pm to 6 am. With separate signs stating no overnight parking in each lot.

Quite lot with plenty of space in the back away from the road.

They fill gas bottles here. Alugas no problem, or exchange service for normal gas bottles. 11kg for 18,50€

Arriving in the middle of the Covid-Restrictions, we can indeed highly recommend this place. Every thing you need is there - including the very simpatic and helpful owners family backing fresh bred, very tasty. Food, soft drinks, beer an wine from Peru you get in the nearby shops.
Bevor leaving to Europe Heraldo helped us to comply with all legal formalities that we could leave our camper on the campground for 1 year. Because we still could not enter Peru after 1 year because of Covid restrictions, Heraldo supported us again to have the camper recently shipped back to Europe. We are very thankfull !

We showed up here late on a holiday weekend. There were several other people but lots of space to camp. Woke up to mountains, cows, and hot springs

just behind the rest area. LOTS of space, some very private. Good Verizon service.

Nice open campground, lots of spots for sprinter or other large overlanding vehicle, and a nice little creek meandering through. A little dirty cause it’s DNR though.

Was nice and quiet till I woke up to local meth heads cutting the cam straps and stealing $5 worth of gas from the cargo carrier in the back. Woke up as it was happening and they scurried off. Would not reccomend.

Car camped here one night before continuing east. Pulled in fairly late and ended up in a long line of semis. Plenty of parking, though. Loud because of proximity to interstate, but nice and dark. Good spot to park up for the night

Great boondocking spot along a stretch of river right off the highway. Google Maps takes you past this spot heading north and makes you make a U turn to return. Few cars passing by days hardly any at night, noise is no problem. Clean spot, pack it in pack it out please. Fire rings are present but usage is banned now due to high fire danger regulations in most of Colorado. No cell service for miles.

The owners seem really friendly and
helpful. It is a little hard to find but worth the effort. We are going to try the border tomorrow morning but the owners say the border is closed because of covid-19. We are going to try and see what happens. We have been in Nicaragua now for 3 months. We have been gone now for almost 7 months. We would like to go home now.
