Right along the highway thru the city, quiet and easily accessible. Room is really good and bed is comfy, overall very neat and inviting.
Says they have breakfast too so that's nice!

A good place to camp, we spent one night, it was quiet. It is a mine, dump trucks pass by but until 7 in the afternoon from then on it is quiet until the next day, around 7 in the morning, when they go back to work.

This place IS absolutely beautiful, made it down in my 5-window skoolie. Brought my dog here for the water because it’s really hot right now BUT a guy mentioned “your dog might get sick because of the water algae” and that terrified me enough to not stay, so be careful. Not sure if that’s accurate or not, I didn’t SEE any algae growing and the current was active but I didn’t risk it, super sad.

We paid $13 for two showers (2nd one is half cheaper), with free towels (you only pay a deposit) it was very clean. Shower cabin include a sink and a toilet seat. Staff was really kind, I totally recommend.

It's a pullout of the US 101, flat, just the sound of the highway, but don't borrow.
All this area have signs of no overnight permit, but it seems that nobody controls.

From here follow the yellow ribbons all the way to the top. Difficult hike with lots of boulders to overcome.

But the views were worth the effort.

This is a beautiful spot, but there is now a sign with a picture of a camper van and a trailer that says 'day use only'. I added a picture of the sign.
Others have recently not had an issue here, but the sign looks very new.
I didn't stay, there are great spots the other side of the river in Quebec.

This is the same park as 'Confederation Park', just split by the bridge (you can drive under the bridge). Didn't see a similar sign on the other side.

Showers are lukewarm at best. Plus the doors to the bathrooms are open to the outside so it’s freezing. But it’s clean and only $4.

We ended up spending 5 nights here waiting for a mechanical part to arrive. Cecilia and her team of builders/carpenters were a great sport accommodating to our five year old’s needs by joining in with art projects, musical instruments etc. We arrived on a Saturday and our stay during the weekend was quiet. However as previous comments have mentioned, it’s busy in the week.
There is a “camping area” where you are asked to park your vehicle but other than its proximity to the bathrooms there are few amenities in that space. In the week, the kitchen/ common area with the wifi has to be shared with all the staff, so there’s not much room.
The showers are new, but water is either boiling hot or freezing cold. They could also do with a bit of a daily clean.

Having said all this, the price for Chilean standards and it’s close proximity to Santiago is fair (10,000 for a family of three and a camper). We had a pleasant stay and Los ingleses is a chic town.

Visited this private Museum today. Very nice and impressive collection of pre-inca, and inca (as well as colonial and religious) artefacts, some very very very old (a thousand years old). The visit is led by the owners, Nicolas and his wife Maureen. We just knocked at the door, and were lucky they were available. I think best to call to get an appointment at 976234433.
