Nice place to camp. Very developed. There is a store, toilets some art gallery and some weird piramide museum. The road here is all cobblestone. Not to steep easily doable with any car or motorbike or scooter. The whatsapp below works for inquiries.

In the evening the local Shaman (hippie) gives some tour of his pyramid. it's very weird but funny.

Nice quiet spot at end of gem field road. Lots of spots to choose from in the area. Cool rocks and very few people in April. Very good overnight.

Arrived as they were closing but let me sleep in a covered area and opened up the bathroom for the night for me. There is a new fuel station being built about 1km down the road and you can get a simple meal there, restaurant and fuel station will be fully open in about 3 months. Yes trucks are a bit noisy but it's a nice location in the hills. lots of walking trails, could easily spend a couple of nights here.

We stayed the night, such a cute little town so quiet. We read the reviews and felt it was best to call the Sheriff's office of Amana. We spoke with the nicest Sheriff and there was no issues with us staying the night, we got there around 6pm left at 8am. Bathrooms were clean and open 24/7. Definitely advise you to call the Sheriff to let them know you are there, we believe there is a local that calls when people stay over night. They are just responding to calls and thats why they knock and check on those who park there for the night.

We spent one night here. Quiet place, many people doing sports. After 10pm the square is empty. We parked on C5 NE street, where there is a water tap, we loaded our tank without problems. the guard told us it was drinkable. We feel safe. At night there is a cool breeze, you sleep very well!

this place is sincerely beautiful. We got fantastic photos and it was super cool to stay except...

we got there in the evening before sunset. Man named Curtis was selling Jewelry at the stand and we chatted with him, looked at his Jewelry he was selling. He asked if we were staying and that it was $20. Husband asked if there would be a deal if we bought from him. He seemed pleasant and said yes. We paid 40$ for a necklace, bracelet and to stay the night. presumably 20 for necklace, 10 for bracelet and 10 to stay.

Then at 2am, we got a knock. Man who looked identical to Curtis said it cost $10 to stay there. We said we already paid, he said no we needed to pay him. His name is Henson and it's not Curtis's land. He was pretty sharp from the get go and maybe we should have just paid but we were startled being woken in the middle of the night. He said if we didn't pay he'd call the cops. So we left instead and found an easy spot to park even at night 20 minutes down the road.
I find it very odd that he only asked for $10 when everyone else said they ask for $20. Almost like he knew we had already paid $10. Honestly we would have just paid the $20 on top of the Jewelry if he'd said so, to avoid any hassle. I dont have a problem supporting the Navajo/locals and the experience was worth it for a single night but I'm unsure if that would have avoided the problem or not. I don't know which brother you're "supposed" to pay to avoid issues. And you may be woken in the middle of the night to pay no matter what. I saw there were brothers and one said you shouldn't pay his brother but I didn't realize they'd both ask for $. It's a bit too confusing to be worth the stay imo.

location amazing, very walkable to town and basically at the beach. vibe, kinda weird.....it's mostly a snowbird community with a couple open spots for people traveling thru. people are nice but not super friendly. didn't use the showers because they looked a little sketchy, but the guy says they get really hot. $400pesos a night for 2 people and camper on a truck

It is a really beautiful place. We did the hike (70000 Colombian Pesos per person) and yes again it’s a beautiful piece of nature but we think it’s way too expensive for what it is.

A 2-hour hike with a guide who even we speak Spanish she almost didn’t explain anything. If we asked some things than she didn’t always knew the answer. Felt like she didn’t was well informed about the place.

Breakfast was good (15000) but lunch (30000) way ordered from another place and too expensive.

Slept at the parking outside the property. Safe and quiet

Area um pouco pequena para parar o carro. O nosso carro por ser um microônibus foi bem complicado, já que os flanelinhas ficaram em cima por pegar 3 vagas, disseram q por ser uma segunda feira poderíamos ficar somente até à manhã seguinte. O acesso por ter chovido, também foi complicado, muita lama e ruas bem estreitas. Não dormimos no local por causa dos flanelinhas. Para não arrumar confusão. Praia muito bonita.

Beautiful place! made reservations on line, which added an extra $4 to book a $10 site. Well worth it tho. Wanted to stay 3 nights, so had to book a different site for 2 more. I'm up in Pegasus campground, among the humongous rocks. #15 is a large drive thru spot. Each spot comes with a picnic table, fire ring n trash barrel. Someone even left their wood for me. Much too windy today, so I'm leaving it for the next camper. Clean vault toilets scattered around. I found potable water by bthrm #3. Filled a couple jugs. Showers are at the visitor center, with flush toilets. Women's had 2, 1 was a large handicapped. Good hot water, but poor pressure. They're open 24hrs (showers). They're a few electrical sites, plus fcfs, but I'd reserved anyway.

Sign posted “closed for the season” on the dump station. Nice rest area though.

We are on a road trip across the country in our truck and fifth wheel. Needed a place to sleep for the night. Pulled in here well after dark. There were only two other RVs. It was very quiet and dark, perfect for a getting a good nights sleep. Didn’t hear any highway noise. It’s April so we assumed it was free. It’s a very nice, clean campground. Pit toilets onsite. Didn’t use so don’t know how clean they were. There is a trash bin, drinking fountain and even a water bottle fill up for tall reusable water bottles. Tried to use the water bottle fill up and it was shut off though.

Campsite located right on the edge of lake Lanthe/matahi. Approx 10 spots. Bathrooms and sink, no potable water. Pay for use at site: $8/night per adult, $4/night per child (5-17), no charge below 5 years old. Pack out trash, no dogs, no fires, camping stoves only.

there was already a camper set up at back of parking lot and a couple of TT off to the other side of parking lot. I asked inside if it was ok to park my car and they really didn't care at all. once the store closed it was quite quiet

Very clean, little salty water. Perfect for swimming. Not the nice view over the lake.

it's also a nice tourist attraction 20 MXN for entry, 30 MXN for the main cave, 35 MXN if you want to go a bit further in, 20 MXN for the second cave and many more activities such as horseback riding, zipline...

didn't see a single no parking sign talked to the person at planet fitness and they prefer people not stay over 24hrs

Absolutely fantastic place. Grassy pitches and good shade. stunning local area to explore. €13 2 pax 1 tent 1 motorcycle. Highly recommended.

A very nice place near the forêt urbaine, beautiful atmosphere and with lot of security (police and security of the tree park).
It’s totally free, I stay here two night for enjoy the city of Rabat.
During the day there is lot of people come to enjoy the tree park but at night it s quiet.
