Pretty good campground. Bring quarters for the showers. Spacious sites, little (if any) tree cover or shade so be prepared for direct sun.

Sadly, for US Passport holders you cannot extend your visa here. I went and tried and they cannot do it for the Visa we get in our passport, you can only apply for a new visa in Mexico, Panama, or Cucuta consulates. They can only extend the time on the entry stamp but not on the Visa, so whatever the end date of your Visa, is the date by which you need to leave.

I can confirm though to get there 6am or before. I arrived around 6:20am and there were already about 80 people in line. You basically wait outside in an informal line until about 8-8:30am until they start opening up and then one by one put you into a separate line based on the reason for your visit. Once they start this process it was pretty quick. The are very organized about the lines they put you into. For most of the wait you are outside the building and can use your cellphone. The signal is totally fine, you can watch videos or whatever. It's only when you go inside the building that you can't use your phone and that line went very quickly. I was being helped within 30-45mins. They were all very nice.

O camping é muito tranquilo, com a Sra Katia muita solicita e prestativa. Tem água, energia, wi-fi, bem próximo a praia do cumbuco apenas 150mts. 35 por pessoa em média.

Stayed for one night and was 70 pesos per person and if you want electricity is more 50 pesos. A very nice guy received us (it wasn’t the owner). Place with a nice little cascade. Quite and safe.

At the end of the Copec, at the tire inflation site, there is a water tap and a drain for grew/blackwater. Not an official dump station, but seems okay to dump here. We've been here twice and no one batted an eye.

AMAZING. Carlos built the 18m platform for enjoying the noises of the jungle and being eye level with the birds.

He describes it as rustic. there is a toilet and rain water shower at ground level. On the platform there is a double mattress with a bug net and two chairs. Nothing fancy but perfect for listening to the jungle. He built it with the intention of staying up to spot wildlife, but it's so hard to stay awake when the jungle sounds like white noise.

We loved it. very cool experience. it was $35usd for the night and worth every penny. You need a 4x4 to get to his house, it's safe to leave your car parked there. Carlos is wonderful also does a floating tour but we didn't have a chance to do it.

Ótima dica para abastecer a água! Precisa de um alicate para abrir a torneira. No dia estava fechado mas a torneira disponível para uso. Fica do lado de uma casa na esquina no meio do parque, do lado de um banheiro químico.

Would not serve us with Chilean plates. Drive to the PetroEcuador close to the board and they filled out tank.

Allowed us to fill our Chilean plated campervan. The previous PetroEcuador one to the south of Tulcan.

$10 for a overnight parking ticket that goes in your window. Friendly security man informed me I needed to get one from the travel centre desk to stay here.
Seems quiet enough for a night in Vegas, but not many amenities here and it seems as though you need to pay for WiFi usage through Interstate (unless you can connect to that open Amazon router around here somewhere).

Great local Restaurant next to the Highway. Joseph cooks nice local food. He lived a long time in the UK and opened this restaurant when coming back to the Congo. He speaks off course English

If you drive on this highway, definitely recommend to stop here.

You can eat vegetarian here, if you want to.

The bridge arrived, apart from that nothing really changed after one year.

We wanted to ship our car from B.ville to Kinshasa. We found Chris (working for AGL: +242 05 675 0815) who could organize the shipping of our car (200,000 CFA) with Sheik (+242 06 696 9072). Additionally, you pay:

- 1,500 CFA for entry into the port (Vignette du port)
- Pont bascul (loading the car onto the ship with a crane) 60,000-80,000 CFA for a 4x4
- CdP at customs 25,000 CFA (we did not have to pay)
- Port fees (5,500 CFA per ton weight of the car)
- Fees for river maintenance (Service de SCEVN) 3,500 CFA per ton weight of the car

We didn't ship because we couldn’t cross with the car and had to cross separately. We didn’t want to be separated from our car. We didn’t experience corruption directed at us and felt somewhat protected by the people as white individuals, but we observed a lot of corruption against locals.
