We are 3.30 m high, and no problem with the low wires while coming and going.

we came here with the intention of sleeping here, indeed people here is very nice, but the beach is not great, we personally didn't like it for swimming, and there is not a good spot to sleep here so we decide to go to Terra-Mar restaurant to park and sleep there, best thing we have done! nice place, flat parking lot with a swimming pool and a really great view!

Remains of old village, not very far from the main road. Very nice and quiet place, lot of space, many trees.

Rest area, signs saying no overnight stay. No Cell service. Lovely lake view to wake up to. Lots of spots to park just off a very quiet road.

We spent one night at the back of this closed caravanserai. No one disturbed us, one can hear the humming of the highway traffic in the distance.

An alternate spot with a great view of the dam and the town of Umatilla. fairly level and room for a couple of rigs. There are train tracks down below and trains do seem to go throughout the night but they don't blow their horns and because they're low, it's not super loud. it is just off the road but there doesn't seem to be much traffic at night, maybe one car every half an hour.

Flat parking next to a quite road. There are beautiful hikes to do around. 2 picnic tables. No service. For those who like sound of nature without having to take a destroyed road/path.

Nice lodge with secure courtyard parking.

Mostly small rooms with full bed - they call them singles but you can fit two people in there. 2000 Ksh. 400 Ksh breakfast per person.

Restaurant is small with decent selection and the food is fine.

Stayed here instead of Azora because the guy at Azora was real pushy, and no obvious place to park the motorcycle (Azora guy said to park it inside but it was up 4 monster steps - even with a ramp I don't see how it could be done).

For bicycle travelers : yes they have good coffee

Asking the hotel from 7:30 we succeed to get the escort at 9:30. At 10:30 we had NOC (triple check for mistakes!) and take papers from vehicle.
It took one hour for the escort to come back

Safir, the manager, speaks very good english. He and his friend helped me to get my motorbike down the hill, before rain. I could even camp at the premises, but NOT the norm, as a Guesthouse.
They do guided tours. Very lovely people and very quiet place.
They also must do group events, but I was alone there.

Foi a nossa primeira experiência na rua, bem tranquila a noite. Atrás do prédio da casan existe bastante movimento de andarilhos, mas nos sentimos seguros a dormir. Tem um banheiro inteligente da prefeitura que se limpa sozinho, bem interessante, mas ele fecha às 22:00h e abre às 6 da manhã. Nesse horário já tem bastante movimento de pessoas fazendo exercício

Good place to sleep, it was quiet at night. Try to arrive before the night as there are some rocks on the floor, can be hard to see.
Nice view in the morning.

Elephant rock, open only from 5pm. But you can go around the fence and see it anyway.

to get to the dump station follow the signs for the Sugarland visitor Center, follow the Bus,RV parking signs, bypass the parking lot turn left, the dump station is on the right in about 100 feet. The sign is very small, don't blink or you will miss it .

Arch shape, nice but not amazing.
You can see it from the road and enter on a hard dirt road, but don't leave it or go too close as there is soft sand

Easy access to Rainbow Arch with a 2wd using this dirt road

With a 2wd sedan we couldn't enter due to the sand/rock wall blocking the road

Everything closed, the guard asks people to leave

Loved this campsite right on the beach! It’s a pretty busy location with people coming and going, but clears out at night.

no hose but a tap. Probably was quite empty and therefore no pressure at the moment.

parking at aerchological site. the site closes at 7pm, after that the parking lot is completly empty.

here you can do the Tourist registration (Terenski Centar) within 48h of arrival. go to the second floor and get a paper with payment instructions. go to the next bank and pay the tax (10+3.50/person in our case). go back to the registration office and they will do the registration.

Pretty quiet parking lot right off the expressway. Slept in my truck with no issues all night.

We went like expedition-one further and turned to the right and parked our car next to the mango tree. As the other spot is next to the path which is leading towards the farms and frequently in use.

We spend 2 quiet nights, some locals passed(super friendly) and monkeys jump around the trees.

Nice parking lot next to the marina. Little noisy but we had a good night.

Pretty little place. Street near but still quiet. water available.
