Wasn't disturbed, quiet throughout the night after about 9pm. Kids playing at the park got me up in the a.m. I parked along the curb across the street from the park, not in the angled spots or the empty dirt lot.

Agree. This road is super steep. Locals said it’s now not connected the the autopista. We turned around and took Ruta 60 out of Medellín.

Worth while deport from the highway to walk up Piedra del Peñol. It’s 25,000 COP to climb to the top. Helicopter ride around if you are feeling flush with cash.

Parking lot on the old highway.
$10/day. Use the bigger lots on the main highway or walk from one of the adjacent lots to avoid paying the fee.

Beautiful place.
The pools are clean and in good condition.
They have also 3 sliders and a childrens playground.
Wifi all over the ground. Motorhome parking is a bit lower with 2 rows who fits each 6 Motorhomes. At this place you have electricity and drinking water for each lot but no dump station. A cover area with bbq and sink to wash the dish. Also a seating area. Everything is clean and looks new.
The bathrooms also. Unlimited Hot Shower .
Price is 6000 Pesos per person. Our 6 years paid full price. But at the end we have pools and camping for this price.
The night are really quite. I think its also pet friendly.

This place was amazing!!! Just an FYI, it will have you exit at the rest stop, but follow the directions that are given through Google maps it will take you to the entrance with an open gate. As you drive back, there are several locations where you can Pull in in camp. But this location was particularly sexy. Hope you enjoy!

Nice option on your way into / through Albuquerque. Arrived late (~11PM) and did see security drive through as I parked. Didn’t stop or bother us in anyway. a few other rigs and semis here already. Personally the slight slope did not bother me and it was nice and quiet through the night. Stayed in the AM to do some work until about 10AM, again, wasn’t bothered and a van who was here overnight was still parked when I left. Enjoy!

Right off 89 outside Page. Great spot if you’re passing through and checking out horshoe bend. A little sandy and rocky the further back you get but we were fine with 2wd sprinter. We went back to about the 4th pull off. 5G Verizon service.

Really easy if you have removable containers. I spent about $5 for 8 gallons. You can just bring your containers right in the store the employees were totally helpful and kind about it.

Tons of flat spots along this road. I stopped at the small pullout right before this particular coordinate. Fits a Subaru no problem and full bars 5G for ATT.

We knew the stops going north and south have given a bit of trouble to overlanders and are happy to report this was our first “shake down” of our entire 2 year trip!
We shipped our van and were stopped here in our Argentina Rental car where they checked everything in the vehicle.
They wanted to give us a ticket for not having a reflective safety vest, then for not having one vest per passenger. They asked how many pesos we had and we said we only use card and then we were let go without a ticket with the promise to buy a vest for each passenger in the vehicle.
*We travel with a reflective vest (and triangles) in our own vehicle and are confident the law only requires 1 reflective vest in the vehicle, this was just some people looking for a bit of fun in their day, and boy was it fun!

1st street is across from quite a few houses. Parked on Buckingham instead just south of the brewery. Quiet spot. Not too much traffic or street lights. Would recommend

The best canyon sites were taken so we continued to this glorious spot in a large shady grove of cottonwood trees. The road is in great shape with no sign of the loose spots referred to in other reviews.

Free dump station. So easy to get in and out for any size RV and with a tow. It’s a loop to get in and out. Very clean. Non potable water available to clean as you dump.

Good rest area. Big grass area for playing ball with the dog. Of course the trucks are in and out but it doesn’t bother us too much, we are just thankful for the place to stay the night.

Checked out this place today. Food was great. Little flying bugs drove me crazy. Camping area is next to a long rock wall. Toilets are basic bucket flush only. Great ocean & Punta Mazo view. We were already staying somewhere else. Roads are fine in & out of this entire area.

Really nice camping area with a the lodge nearby where there is a restaurant and a pool that camping people are welcome to. If you do book here, campsites 3,4 and 5 are the best positioned in my opinion. We got campsite 1 which was the furthest from the ablution and also was right on the entry for the camp area which was a problem when high speed campers came by! Jan, the guy responsible for your safety at the camp is wonderful and we felt totally comfortable staying there for four nights. Some nice easy hikes directly from the campsite as well. Would recommend this place.

Good spot. Only one other group stayed here with us. Beautiful views and a moderate breeze kept us from being too hot. Most of the bathrooms were locked. The one that wasn’t, was out of toilet paper. Police drove by two times during the night shining lights around.

Had fun driving up to the lighthouse above this spot. Loose sand, best to have 4WD with recovery gear. Helped two 2WD vehicles get unstuck.

It is indeed free to have a hot shower here in this amazing facility right in the center of everything. The change room can be accessed from the entrance without even talking to an employee.
