Driving up the main trucking road, there are many side dirt roads that go up near the mountain. Very quiet, no road noise. Any vehicle could make this drive, although a larger rig might have a harder time finding a spot off the road. Great views, no road noise, no one around for miles. 2 bars verizon service

As stated the hike cost 20Kpp at the start and then another 6kpp at the end. We enjoyed the view on the first half and wish we had turned around at the top and retraced our steps enjoying the views of the palms on our way down as well. The second half of the hike went through the forest, not great views, the footing wasn’t great, the path wasn’t clear and during the rainy season it would be very muddy (although if you have kids they might enjoy all the suspension bridges) and you could save yourself 6k. The views of the wax palms are amazing.

Very convenient stop right on the road, a little road noise at night. The family was super kind offering us coffee and allowing us to sit in their house as a rain storm rolled in. Had use of a washroom and hot shower and the back deck overlooking the forest is magnificent. It was tough to find a flat spot to park.

Asked the attendant about it, he said he wouldn’t drink it if it were him. He said it’s not filtered :/

Mostly flat, no signs, does require turn around. Stayed here a couple of times last August but hadn’t returned due to the unhoused/addicted people occupying the street (one charged at us, yelling, then dipped into the empty building across from the apartments - it, was, sketch). This time it has been much more chill. Saw the smokers but didn’t engage; we try to be as stealth as possible. Ongoing alarm went off all night in the distance but it kinda became white noise hahah. Downtown Burlington is slim pickings, so this is really theee spot.

Huge parking lot just off 40. Clean pit toilets and a good network of trails to hike/bike/run. We were the only overnight vehicle but others starting coming in about 7am. Great stop

Stayed in the Walmart parking lot. One of the friendly Walmarts that allows campers to spend the night. There were 5 or 6 campers that evening. Quiet and convenient.

Travel from Nigeria to Cameroon via Sea

@confusedery: please note John is not the owner of the company but a transport manger and wouldn't do such thing. No competitors Is either you follow authorized boat company with a secure route or join the smuggling boay to Cameron at your risk of priate and no one will be held responsible because even the Migration and the customs will denied about your departure. This is not a general voyage port and authorized license is needed to operate between the two countries. Instead you should write here about your aggressive behavior to other travelers who met and everyone left you without traveling as a group with you and ask we should make a separate boat for them instead that costed us an extra departure schedule. A lot of tourist had been complaining about your behavior to everyone including to the officer. Finally wheh the officer find out that you entered Nigeria through an illegal boarder with out a migration stamping and you about to depart to Cameroon and the decide to take seriouse action but due to Mr John intervention the migration insist you depart ASAP. #Management Ringsco Sea Transit

Good Restaurant with A/C. I had a Shawarma for 20.000 GNF and some cold drinks for 5000 GNF.

I came and asked if I could camp there. The responsible person wasn’t there, but they allowed me. They didn’t know the price, but said 7.000 or 10.000 GNF - it’s really cheap. There is a toilet a bathroom and one power outlet next to it.

Between Atan and Yenokavan there is an amazing way, when you have time and you like off-road. It's not easy to find the right way and don't drive when it's rain or after. There are many places where you can camp wild on grassy hills.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Very nice camp. Was able to pay with credit card. Developed camps are 20$ pppn, exclusive camps are 27.50$ pppn. 20$ pppn for conservation + 5$ for car. Views of the river are rather limited at this camp and dogs barking till 10pm

Moz to Zim. Moz 10 minutes, everyone wanted a gift, but not insisting. Zim 45 minutes, 3 steps with a lot of handwriting. Not asked for gifts on Moz side. 50$ for road tax + insurance in a rented vehicle.

Using Pafuri + Sango to go from Kruger to Gonarezhou works well

Nice place next to the lake. At the end of April nobody came, so we stay for free. A little muddy due to the recent rain. No problem with our 4x4

Nice Place, which offers everything a coffee or tea lover could ask for. They also serve some dishes from around the world. Their yummy apple strudel helped me with homesickness during some very rainy days. (We all know those can suck in a campervan) And their matcha latte kept me excited for the rest of our Asia trip. Prices are similar to Europe, so not exactly cheap.

The track is a dead end and 4x4 is desirable or extra clearance . The unpaved track is not being used anymore and it is a great spot to picnic or even overnight . Only suitable for rooftop tents or small vans with good clearance

The track is a dead end and there are few places to turn around. About 300-400 meters before the end is a spot to turn around . Also about 200-300 meters before the end the track is getting trickier, but doable, with lots of loose rocks .

There is sea view and you are above an abandonded Greek village .

The track is actually part of the Lycian way
