Really a great place to stay for some nights. Super kind manager and workers! We asked for a double room, but because it was fully booked we were invited to stay in the yard with our caravan. We could use a toilet, got breakfast, shower, wifi and registration for really small money. One evening we were invited for dinner and beer đ. And the manager loves pets. It also wouldn't be a problem to have the dog in the room. |

Great place to stay and agree with all previous posts. An update from the owner the place is more a Pousada and not really set up for camping.....plus we ended up paying the same amount, 30pp for a room, excellent kitchen and common area, peace and quiet all right across the road from the beach; as we would of paid to camp somewhere |

Large grassy area (perfect for dogs). Very close to the Lee state park camping area where you can go take a hot shower for free before coming here for free! On a little gravy road at your right when coming from the park. There is a big antenna on site. |

International hospital (high standard) with different kinds of care. Western standard. You can do a extensive bloodtest for malaria here for 5000 CFA. Give blood, wait for 45 minutes and you have the result. The entrance of the hospital is a little bit difficult to find but with maps it will work out well. |

also known as Commagene Wooden Hotel or Commagene Nemrud Hotel. There are 5 places in the garden where you can put a tent or camper. We had to stay in the parking with the Unimog. Staff does not speak English but they will call the manager who does. Noisy place on busy crossroad. Toilets not very clean. We got the keys of a room for a warm shower (and clean toilet). 50ytl for two persons and camper. |

From the main road drive up towards Cerro Toco, there is a bunch of signs saying you need authorization to continue but all the gates are open and there was a bunch of tour buses and a couple of cars up here. Most of them are climbing Cerro Toco, but even without climbing you have a view on ALMA. |

Brand new hotel opened in march 2018. Simple clean room good bed with fan 10000. Bigger room with airco huge bed tv,hot shower 20000. We bargained a bit better to 17 for the big room and 8 for the small room. We cooked ourselves on the parking. Itâ close to the supermarket and fuel station with high pressure cleaning. They have a bar and snackbar as well. Not close to the centre but nice and quiet. |

They open @ 7:30. Look for Diana, she is the one to start the process and later to inspect the vehicle with you. Immediately after starting the process with Diana go see Guadalupe next door at Association PortuĂĄria to apply for your port entry permit. You will have to write a letter. She will give you a template, and you can type at an Internet cafe across the street. Without the permit you can not inspect your vehicle. Follow the steps as described in the previous post. |

If you want to ride your own vehicle
Dune fee is 3.60soles. After you pay the fee you gotta climb the bumpy hill to reach the play area of the dunes. Of course youll need 4x4 and really good tires to ride these dunes. |

Heading Nth from Bardas Blancas just over the bridge crossing of Rio Grande small turn off to the left. Well shielded wild camp spot from wind and road noise. Rough pebble surface and suitable for any vehicle. Could fit a couple of big rigs. There is a gate which leads to an estancia i guess, which a vehicle entered but didnât take any notice of us. Great view of the escarpment. |

On the way to San Pedro de Altancara this was the only place we could get of this not very busy gravel road (fences on both sides) and find a place to stay approx. 100m away from the road. Visible from the road during the day - after dark the drivers have to concentrate on the causeway. At night - after 9.00pm no traffic at all until the first car at 06.00. Good place for one night for a small rig - not recommended for tents. |

Recreation center with a small zoo, nice refreshing swimming pools (2), playgrounds, small restaurant and clean bathrooms. Perfect stop with the kids. They let us stay for the night in the parking lot. Pretty cool to go to bed hearing all the birds and animals around. 100 pesos/adult, 70 pesos/kid. There is also casitas for rent. The entry gate has a height limitation, but our class C (12 feet tall) passed with no problem. |
